Good Value On Used Callaway Balls But ..., September 17, 2007
This review is from: Callaway HX Hot Recycled Golf Balls (36 Pack) (Sports)
The golf balls arrived in a plastic egg-like carton. They were all in excellent condition. However, on closer inspection, 4 of the 36 balls were a different Callaway model than HX Hot. They included 4 CX3 Hot models, which are a much cheaper (and under-performing) model which can be purchased new at discount stores such as WalMart very imexpensively. So all in all, it's still a great buy, but be aware that you may not receive a full count of the balls you expected to receive.

At a buck a ball, it's ok to lose a few!, September 24, 2007
This review is from: Callaway HX Hot Recycled Golf Balls (36 Pack) (Sports)
The other review on these recycled golf balls are dead on. The majority of the balls are in very good shape, a few with odd advertising logos, like Cadillac and some radio station, but still in good condition.
The drawback, however, is that I too, had about 5 non HX Hot golf balls in the package.
Hard to imagine it's by mistake.
So imagine you're getting about 31 slightly used, still expensive, HX Hot golf balls, and 5 less expensive Callaway golf balls.
In short, I bought these golf balls simply to see if I like them. And at a buck a ball, I won't worry too much if they stray off the fairway too much. Being the elitist, yet poor-playing golfer that I am; I enjoy hitting a fairly pricey golf ball, but there's little sense in buying these "high performers" brand new. If they were brand new, they would still fine there way in the sand, forest, and the water. In hindsight, I should probably get a discount on recycled golf balls...it's the new balls that I always lose after hitting them only once.
That stated, they seem to be a good golf ball, and I would probably buy them again.

Oh Balls, April 10, 2010
This review is from: Callaway HX Hot Recycled Golf Balls (36 Pack) (Sports)
I am an avid golfer, although not a very good one. Initially when I started playing I went through alot of golf balls. I wanted to play with a decent ball but could not afford it losing around a dozen balls a round. I purchased these ball online used. They were in great shape. Most of the balls were without scuffs and the outer lining did not have any deeps scrapes. I would highly recommend. Although they will not lower your score.

Received all 36 HX Hot., May 13, 2010
This review is from: Callaway HX Hot Recycled Golf Balls (36 Pack) (Sports)
I guess I am the lucky one because I have received all 36 HX Hot balls. The only problem I had was the ball quality was not as good as Nike Super Far balls.
