Very fresh and delicious!

Not what I expected
The candy was delicious, but it wasn't the same grapefruit slices I came to expect from the Haribo Fruit Salad. They were larger and thinner. Honestly have the same taste but the ratio of surface area (powdered sugar) to volume (gummi sugar) was a tad off in my books. They do however tend to get kind of hard if sitting around for awhile, so I was pleased that the bag I got from Amazon was very fresh and all the candy still nice and soft. 5 pounds though is a lot of candy! Vacuum packing 1 pound bags works well to keep them fresh a long time.

love the grapefruit Haribo!, February 17, 2008
I love the flavor of this stuff, and managed to get several other people addicted to it, to. At first, you think it's a crazy idea, but it grows on you. The service of this company was great and the product was fresh and delivered timely and in great shape.

Probably because it is made in Spain for the S. American market? Some Haribos that I made are made in Hungary and I think they are for the European market, which is not as sweet, but very flavorful.

These are my favorite candy, and they've become increasingly difficult to find in stores. This is a great price, and the candies are a nice blend of tart and sweet!

This gummy candy tastes like fresh grapefruit without all the sticky mess. Each triangle shaped piece is lightly dusted with just the right amount of sugar to balance the tartness of the candy. Candy stays fresh for a long time if the bag is sealed in an airtight container after it has been opened. The flavor is excellent for all grapefruit lovers.

There is really not much to say other than this delicious candy is a sweet bargain! This is the same candy you buy in the "dolled up" specialty candy store at the mall that they sell for 2-3 times the price per pound. We have all gotten the little plastic bag at the store and thought we were going to buy just a little bit of this candy, only to find out it costs an arm and a leg when you checked out. This candy came fresh, delicious and at a money saving value. Highly recommended!

These are the best candies ever! I remember digging through the Haribo mixed fruit bag to fish out all the grapefruit pieces when I was a kid. My mom and I both loved them! I was completely surprised to find them in a bag all their own. It made a wonderful gift to send my mom! She said that they are even better than she remembers! Sweet with a little tartness to them makes the perfect combination! Oh and the bag is huge! ;)

these were exactly what i was looking for when i was in the mall. our specialty candy shop was going for $4.50 1/4 pound!!! i found another shop but still was $2.50 1/4 pound...these candies came fresh in a sealed bag by my ups man and he even approved the flavor...this big bag did not last long in my house better order me another...pink grapefruit is awesome too...
