Its OK for yhr price
I am a EMT student, I didn't want to buy a expensive one. This works good enough for me, just doing BP and Breath Sounds. I will probobly get a nicer one when I have to work on real patients. The Construction is a little flimsy... but the scope really does work fine.

Useless piece of garbage
I purchased this so I can check heart beat on pets and livestock. When package arrived, I tried it on myself only to discover that I am dead, so then tried it on my children and wife to double check.. I am so disappointed to learn my family is the walking dead.

We bough this because all are children have asthma. We wanted this so we could hear if their was a problem and they were still wheezing when their asthma was at its worse. works great for what we need.

I was worried this would be a bit of a toy, but it is just as good as most hospital grade stethoscopes. Nice colour, good length.

Good for kids, May 9, 2009

I bought this for a handicapped child that stays in a Nursing Home where I was at recently for rehab. The nurses there would always let him listen to his heartbeat with their stethoscope's and he got a big kick out of it so I bought him this for Christmas. It's nothing compared to the ones the nurses use but at least you can hear your heartbeat though it is faint compared to the nurses. Alright for listening to your own heart to see if your still alive but would not recommend for a professional.

It is very low price and it really does work. The only problem is that the ear plug may be somewhat tight and uncomfortable to wear. It is good enough for amateur, but not recommend of health professional.

Needed Stethoscope, November 2, 2009

We needed a stethoscope to monitor our parents for heart and lung sounds. The automated sphygmomanometer was confused by their heart sounds so this helped us to take an accurate heart rate. Not fancy but does the trick.

FUNCTIONALLY HOWEVER, IT'S ALMOST USELESS. IF THE ROOM IS SILENT, AND
YOU REALLY CONCENTRATE, YOU CAN FAINTLY HEAR A HEART BEAT.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
