Best for Chihuahuas
I have two chihuahuas. There is no way a chihuahua can hold it all day, either in a kennel or out. Their little bladders are not big enough. Plus, they do not like cold weather or rain and getting them to potty outside is an effort in futility. I have tried every puppy pad at the local retail stores and figured out these were the best. They are quilted so they do not...

Give Us A Break -We don't ask for much
I had been buying this pad but no more. You have just outpriced yourself by raising the price from $9.99 to $15.21 even with the 4 for 3 discount and the free shipping(that's why the two stars). They are cheaper at Walgreens where they still sell for $9.99. You can lower the price in consideration of your customers,I'll buy them again. In the meantime, if you want a...

Best for Chihuahuas, July 26, 2008
This review is from: Hartz Maximum Protection Training Pads, 50 Pads (Misc.)
They are quilted so they do not bunch up. My youngest dog cannot chew them up like she does the blue ones. Why they chew them up, I have no clue....it's a puppy thing! I have been buying the 24 pack of this brand pad at my local Wally mart for $7.00. They are $10 at the grocery store! I just happened to see these on Amazon - 50 for $9.99 and with the 4 for 3 deal and free shipping, that comes to $7.49 per pack. Less than I was paying retail with sales tax for 24! Great job, Amazon! I will be buying these regularly and I wish they had them on Subsribe & Save so I don't have to reorder!

In the meantime, if you want a pretty good pad I've used the ones from DHMEDICAL online where they have 200 pads for $30 and reasonable shipping. Zero Stars for Amazon. five stars for the Hartz quality.

They work for what they are made for, December 17, 2008
My cats are awful about not liking to use their litter box. These pads I've used to make a nice layer on the floor so that anything that doesn't hit the box, hits the pads. For the price you can't go wrong on these pads (and i've seen them in the buy 3 get 1 free promotions. Pads are pads, they all work as far as I'm concerned. These are the cheapest price I've found so makes it well worth it.

Super Duper Puppy Pads, December 8, 2009
I house trained my puppies with these pads. They work great without leaking and they stick to the ground so they won't slip and slide. I will use these again with my next litter, after all, who wants a mess in the house.

Won't buy anything else, April 9, 2009
Our Wal Mart down here stopped carrying this brand, and I freaked out!! These are the only pads I can use for my two Poms that don't leak. (One of them goes outside and them comes back in to go potty!)Then I found them here on Amazon and not only get to keep the brand I love but I am saving loads of money. They were a 30 pack for $13 there. Thanks, Amazon!

These are not fuzzy, but do absorb. . ., March 28, 2009
I use these with adult dogs. These pads have not proven leaky for me. Unlike other brands, these are not fuzzy-topped, but seem quilted, and do absorb a lot of liquid. This is my first choice of brand, when they are available.

Expensive, but worth it, August 8, 2009
Yes these are way more expensive than the cheapie pads. We ordered several brands and found that you get what you pay for. These absorb more than twice as much fluid, absorb it faster, and leave a dry surface very soon afterwards. There's only one pad on the market that outperformed these--and of course, it is nearly 50% higher in price, too!
Overall? A really great pad, not as expensive as it seems, because you need to change them so much less!

NOTHING BETTER!, July 15, 2009
These pads are wonderful, we change them daily, but even so, they are very absorbent, keep urine odor down, and do not leak through. Helpful tip to anyone using puppy pads, when your old shower curtain liner is ready to be replaced, cut off a large enough area of it to fit under your puppy pad, keeps floor clean and you can wipe it right off if anything leaks through or your lil furkid misses....hey, it happens! Not having to wipe off the liner much anymore! Thanks to this pads! Hope you have as good a luck as we have! God Bless! The Hare-Albert Homehold!

Pads are small and leak, March 27, 2009
The most important thing for a wee-wee pad is that it not let any liquid seep through and ruin the hardwood floors. This brand allows urine to seep through almost immediately. They are also slightly smaller than other brands we have used. Still looking for a brand that does not allow ANY seepage. This doesn't seem like much to ask, but so far all the brands we've tried allow leakage because the plastic is porous.

The Best Training Pad for the money, January 8, 2009
The potty pads by Hartz are the best I have found. They are excellent used in conjunction with a potty pad holder and seem to have no odor but, the scent attractant works well. The are not paper thin as I have found other makes to be.
