a godsend
My 2 1/2 year old refused to sleep on the toddler mattress I purchased that went with her new bed and would only sleep in my arms (for her nap) or on my bed (she would wake every two hours in her bed asking for me). In short I was desperate and thank God for this mattress! She slept on the foam side (the toddler side) one night and that was all it took, she's been in...

Not what I expected
I bought this mattress expecting memory foam like the mattresses for adults- where if you press on it you make a slight indentation so it is soft but you don't sink into it.
But now that I have it, if you didn't tell me it was memory foam I would not have known. It is very firm with a plastic cover. Pressing on it gives no indication that it's any...

a godsend, February 23, 2008
My 2 1/2 year old refused to sleep on the toddler mattress I purchased that went with her new bed and would only sleep in my arms (for her nap) or on my bed (she would wake every two hours in her bed asking for me). In short I was desperate and thank God for this mattress! She slept on the foam side (the toddler side) one night and that was all it took, she's been in her own bed ever since without so much as a midnight whimper- I would pay double what they asked for! I loved it so much I bought a second one for my son who uses the infant side and also sleeps soundly. It also has a thick, plastic-like cover so that when there are diaper leaks they can be cleaned up with a quick scrub with soap and wiped away with a try towel and ready for a new bed sheet in a matter of minutes.
Bless the makers of this mattress they really understand a mother's need for a long term (easy to clean) mattress, a baby's safety, and most of all a toddler's need for a softer more "grown up" bed!

Not what I expected, November 19, 2009
I bought this mattress expecting memory foam like the mattresses for adults- where if you press on it you make a slight indentation so it is soft but you don't sink into it.
But now that I have it, if you didn't tell me it was memory foam I would not have known. It is very firm with a plastic cover. Pressing on it gives no indication that it's any different than any other mattress.
My son is sleeping on it fine, but then again he will sleep on just about anything.
It left me with the impression that I really should have just bought a regular (less expensive mattress). Would have made no difference.

A vast improvement, August 10, 2009
I bought this mattress for my 20 month old son. His previous mattress came with the crib we got from a friend, and the springs simply weren't up to his increasing weight. He would toss and turn repeatedly and wake up through the night more and more frequently. When I pushed on the mattress with a hand I could actually FEEL the springs. No wonder he hated it!
This mattress was a complete success. He fell asleep easily and stayed asleep through the night the first night we put this mattress in his crib. It was also much cheaper, even with shipping, than the memory foam crib mattress I could have bought at Baby's r' Us. The moisture resistant coating doesn't seem to impede the comfortableness of this mattress at all, and will undoubtedly prove to be a godsend when we start potty training.
My son's been sleeping on it for almost three months now, and I could not be more pleased with this mattress.

FANTASTIC, December 19, 2009
Due to the fact that my boys are 15 months apart I had to purchase a sturdy toddler proof mattress quickly prior to the arrival of my second child. I noticed how much better my son slept at night right away. The baby mattress we first had was standard issue and only about 80 springs...very flimsy and uncomfortable to the touch, yet ALL the mattresses had felt that way to us when we were in the baby stores so we figured that was expected.
Now that our first son iS in a toddler bed and the baby just turned a year...he is begining to put HIMSELF to sleep on his brother's bed because he prefers it much more, and he will sleep through all manner of noise and lights and chaos, so not knowing a lot about the craftmanship of the various mattress or options; I can only say that both my children have LOVED this mattress, so I am preparing to throw out the 'baby' mattress and get another one of these.

Good toddler mattress, November 24, 2009
I bought this mattress for my son, who I could not get to sleep in his own bed. I bought it because I thought it would most resemble my tempur-pedic mattress. While it's more firm than my mattress, my son has adapted very well and after 2 nights, was sleeping in his bed all night...a dream come true!
