5.0 out of 5 stars We like them!
My husband and I orig bought the umbrella's with the lights built in, but they shorted out and broke. We were looking for an alternative so we wouldn't have cords on our bbq and this worked out perfect. We tried a different led light that had 4 clusters of led lights but it created more of a spot-light affect. This one illuminates all around without any gapes, is easy to...

1.0 out of 5 stars EXTREME GADGETS COUNTERFEIT ITEM
I purchased the Westinghouse 75750 Umbrella light from extreme gadgets and I am very disappointed and I want a refund and I do not think it is fair that I have to pay to ship back. This is a counterfeit product. I have the original Westinghouse umbrella light and it has a collar that clamps to the pole that the led fixture attaches to. this is a cheap knock off with no...

5.0 out of 5 stars Come into the Light... The blue light, October 10, 2007

The two pieces come together perfectly around the deck umbrella. There's a warning on the product not to look into the LEDs because they can evidently cause damage to your eyes. If you have kids, you may want to consider another model. The blue light is attractive and really makes you want to look into it for some reason. This isn't bright enough to have a night-time meal, but it is enough light for having drinks and talking.

This lightweight umbrella light slips onto the umbrella pole and offers a nice light for outdoor dinners that linger into darkness. The light is not a focal during the day and works well. Installing the batteries is a bit tricky.

4.0 out of 5 stars bright, June 10, 2007
This review is from: Westinghouse 75750 8-Inch LED Umbrella Light (Tools & Hardware)
Was pleasantly surprised at the light. I wish it was more of a white light instead of the bluish l.e.d but for around $20 it works great and with no wires. Havnt found out yet how long it lasts but I've used it for probably atleast 4-5 hours and seems fine so far.

5.0 out of 5 stars Westinghouse LED umbrella light review, April 29, 2008

This light is the neatest thing I've gotten in a long time for my outdoor area. I have two tables with umbrellas, and there are times when lighting the torches is too much trouble. Further, we like to have lighting for the table when eating outside after dark. This light puts off just the right amount of light, is subtle on the umbrella pole, and turns on and off easily. I am SO pleased with this product!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this light, October 3, 2007
This review is from: Westinghouse 75750 8-Inch LED Umbrella Light (Tools & Hardware)
This is an excellent light for the price, much better than it's 100 dollar counter parts. Each little led light lights up very well, and is very easy to mount on the umbrella. My only disappointment is that it does take 4 double A batteries. I have used it quite a bit, and the batteries have yet to go dead. It is plastic, so it isn't the most sturdy product, but then again, how often are you moving it around? I even put small MP3 speakers on top of it and it holds them as well without falling down.

This light works great - just as it is intended. It offers plenty of light for those warm evenings on the deck. The light is a bit bluish, but not distractingly so. I like the fact that it is easy to put on and remove. Other umbrella lights are more fixed, and last no more than a season as a result. I think it is slightly overpriced though.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Happy - but could be happier, September 15, 2009
This review is from: Westinghouse 75750 8-Inch LED Umbrella Light (Tools & Hardware)
The product is built very well, and functions as advertised.
The manual ON/OFF feature is a big plus for me. I want light,
I turn it ON. I don't want light, I turn it OFF.

The light spread is wide and diffuse, no spotlight effect
like some people have encountered with other umbrella lights
that have 4 or 6 large "bulbs."

The one drawback is that the light is a harsh white - almost blue.
Of course, I knew this going in, so I can't complain. BUT the
manufacturer can (and should) soften the light output using a
yellowing filter. To help solve this problem, I figured I could
just turn the device upside down (pointing the lights upward toward
the umbrella)...and indeed, that did the trick!

The hanging hook is also a useful feature. Good product.

Nice soft lighting for outdoor dining - I like the way you can position it anywhere on the umbrella stand. Definitely not a light to read by, but great for dining or conversation.
