My reason for contacting them was the fact that over 50% of the dishes were broken. The dishes were in their original carton (like you would purchase at a retail store - only separated by flimsy cardboard) and then the carton...

This was my second choice for a Pfaltzgraff pattern and I'm glad this is the one I got!!! The Napoli dinner plates were too large for my cabinets but these fit perfectly. They are definitely dishwasher safe, everyone comments on what a great set I have. Just couldn't be happier. The variation of pattern throughout the different pieces instead of each and every piece being exactly the same color and pattern is what I like most. I also ordered the service for 8 and quite a few extra pieces like bowls, sugar & creamer set, etc. Love them all.

I have had this dinnerware for almost 4 years and have only broke one plate. It washes beautiful in the dishwasher and it still looks shiny and new. Everything does get very hot when it comes out of the microwave so you have to be careful when taking it out of the micro. I have a service for 12 and love it! You won't be disappointed.

I really liked this set of dishes. They were very well made and very colorful but I had to send them back because of damage during shipment. This occured twice and the last time, Amazon told me they could no longer ship them due to a problem on their end. Apparently, it was with the packers because both times, the bowls were broken in several pieces upon arrival. Luckily, I found the Pistoulet Salmon Dinnerware at Macy's for considerably less than on Amazon.

I love Pistoulet. It works in my country french kitchen just perfectly. These dishes can be semi-formal if you wish, but they retain a touch whimsy, and I love that about them. I bought one box of the blue and one box of the red. The pieces coordinate, but they don't "match". So much more interesting on the table. So far so good in the microwave and the dishwasher - I've only had them a few weeks, but I've owned Pfaltzgraff before, and this set seems to be holding up to the name. Finally, the dishes that are perfect for my kitchen!!!!

We ordered the 16 piece set hoping to receive service for four, with 3 pieces and 4 serving pieces, just like the one shown in blue. Instead we received the 20 piece set which includes service for 4, with the 5 pieces pictured, I called customer service told them that we did not receive the four serving pieces that we expected; they said the computers were down, could you call back later? instead I emailed customer service told them that we were missing the 4 serving pieces as well as the problem I had with calling customer service.
Customer service sent out another 16 piece set, (as stated on the shipping slip) but, we do not have the heart to tell them, again, that they sent out another 20 piece dinnerware set. UPDATED 1/27/07

Amazon was very good about reimbursement and apologizing but I don't think I would order again from Warehouse Deals.

This set is absolutely enchanting! If you want something different than the old same pattern pieces, this set is for you. Whimiscal to say the least and I now intend to purchase all the extra pieces (salt & pepper, serving bowls, etc). My shipment arrived in perfect order, no chips, cracks, etc. I am a very happy customer! I really think you will like this set!

This is perfect and I plan on collecting many many more pieces to complete my set. When I opened the box and took out all the pieces, I was stunned and amazed at the beauty of this set. Colorful but not to bright, cheerful, puts a smile on my face. Will get rid of my boring dishes now and will have fun with my new dishes and new kitchen. It will get the Pistoulet overhaul (so I will have a Pistoulet kitchen) along with new Malovani Design Sunflower Oil Paintings, that will replace the old pictures I have up in the dining area. I will feel like I am in Europe without the expense of the airline ticket. LOL
I just love the fact that the pieces are all different, so there is variety now and you know what they say, "Variety is the Spice of Life". Well the time has come for me and I am on a roll. Love this set.

I had these dishes saved in my cart for at least a year. I was waiting for a good price on them (or when I could afford them). I've looked at many different stores, and have not been able to find anything I liked as much. I was so happy that they were on sale for $150 for a service for 8.
I received my service for 8 in two shipments (each a service for 4). Even though the packaging was horrible (only a thin piece of styrofoam on the bottom and a thin layer of bubble wrap around the edges), the first shipment arrived okay. The second set had three dinner plates, 1 mug and 1 soup bowl broken. When I contacted Amazon, I was offered $30. One dinner plate averages $20! I felt that this "solution" was not a solution at all. This was no deal at all!!
I'm very disappointed in Amazon. I have spent hundreds of dollars over the years, and their offer was an insult. First of all, the packaging was not acceptable. These are GLASS dishes after all. Secondly, since some of the dishes were broken, replacements aren't cheap and therefore, I did not get a "bargain."
I love the dishes! I did not return them and am trying to find an alternative solution to complete my service for 8. If the dishes had been unbroken, I would have given a rating of 10 stars!
