Safe / Security storage box
This safe/box was purchased for my son to take to college to store expensive items such as digital camera, IPod and other small items and money. Not as pictured but still a decent value
This item was not exactly as pictured when it arrived. The key pad was different, and looked a bit cheaper. However, it still seemed to be a good value.

Safe / Security storage box, August 24, 2007
This review is from: Digital Electronic Safe for Home or Business - 1.0 Cubic Foot Interior Space - Gray (Misc.)
This safe/box was purchased for my son to take to college to store expensive items such as digital camera, IPod and other small items and money. It will not keep a determined thief from stealing the entire box but it would make it much more obvious to see someone walking down the hall with a large gray steel box. The combination is easy to set and there is a removable shelf to help make the space more usable. The one item that the safe/box is missing is a way to attach a cable to the box to a fixed point like you do a laptop computer to make the box harder to just pick up and walk away with. Shipping was a bit high, almost as much as the safe/box itself.

Digital Electronic wall safe, June 18, 2007
This review is from: Digital Electronic Safe for Home or Business - 1.0 Cubic Foot Interior Space - Gray (Misc.)
The safe is used, attached to a masonary wall, in our church office. Temporarily store cash and checks from Sunday offerings in the safe over the weekend prior to deposit when banks open on Monday. The safe is ideal.... it's bolted securely to a masonary wall. The combination is easily changed to accomodate normal changes in personnel on committees and boards, limiting access only to those that need to know. The safe is not fireproof but it is well built and sturdy.

Great Compact Small Home Safe, November 24, 2007
This review is from: Digital Electronic Safe for Home or Business - 1.0 Cubic Foot Interior Space - Gray (Misc.)
Easy to use just like some of the hotels offer. Keypad combo makes use hassle free. I use it nightly to store my cash and billfold etc. Mounts easily - but I just have it on a shelf. Well worth the money. I used to sell safe and lock hardware and didn't want to spend a lot of money for a simple safe. This is a great safe and well worht the money!

Not Good... What???, September 13, 2008
This review is from: Digital Electronic Safe for Home or Business - 1.0 Cubic Foot Interior Space - Gray (Misc.)
I have two pistols that I use for protection and keep the both in here with room for 3 boxes of pistol amoo and have 3 boxes of shottie shells and still have a little room left over. I am not sure what everyones problem is with this, but for the money I can't complain at all. IT has never failed and is still on the first set of batteries after a year or so. I would definetly recomend this to anyone that is needing one to keep the kids out or anyone else for that matter!!

Great, September 10, 2007
This review is from: Digital Electronic Safe for Home or Business - 1.0 Cubic Foot Interior Space - Gray (Misc.)
The safe is excellent for the price. There is enough space to fit plenty of money, valuables, etc and it seems very secure. Digital combination is easy to set and 2 keys are also included.

Safe safe., January 18, 2008
This review is from: Digital Electronic Safe for Home or Business - 1.0 Cubic Foot Interior Space - Gray (Misc.)
This safe is much better than I expected. Its a very safe, sturdy safe. You can also have two different sections to it as well. It comes with a divider, for a top and bottom section. I love it. It holds lots of things.

cheap plastic toy, September 30, 2008
This review is from: Digital Electronic Safe for Home or Business - 1.0 Cubic Foot Interior Space - Gray (Misc.)
The safe looks like a child's toy and could probably be opened by a child with a toy screwdriver. The panel with the buttons is flimsy plastic and is mounted to the door by a single soft metal screw that wasn't screwed in fully or straight. The knob that is supposed to be what you turn to open the safe spins freely an infinite number of turns in either direction without any resistance and is so completely loose it's wobbly, giving me the impression it's not attached to any functioning internal mechanism at all and is just there for looks. The door rattles when I move the safe. The unit I received came with an instruction sheet that describes how to use a different safe than the one I received, so the directions are mostly useless. The unit I received is different from the one pictured on the web page where I added it to my shopping cart on amazon's website. The main difference is that the buttons and lights on the door panel are different in appearance and location. The ones in the website picture look relatively sturdy compared to the ones on the unit I received, which are flimsy rubber pads like on a 1980s video game controller or an old TV remote, and they smush and bend when you push them and look like they'll break off easily just like my Atari 5200 buttons eventually did. Based on its rickety, clunky looks the unit gives me absolutely no confidence anything I put in it will actually be safe. But there's no way to test that theory since I can't get it to open. I followed the directions on the instruction sheet to the letter several times in spite of the fact that the instructions are clearly for a different model, but the safe door, which was closed and locked when I received the unit, will not open. I'm sure this is for the best since the doorknob on the safe clearly doesn't do anything but spin, and if I were to be able to open the safe and put something inside it, the door would never open again to release my belongings without my getting a hammer to crack off the brittle plastic faceplate. Will be returning this inconvenient joke to the seller tomorrow. What a waste of my time.

Easy to use safe, July 11, 2009
This review is from: Digital Electronic Safe for Home or Business - 1.0 Cubic Foot Interior Space - Gray (Misc.)
I bought this safe to store money, my camera, etc. It works well, the code is very easy to set and it is the perfect size for small valuables. The two annoying things about this safe would be, the knob to activate the lock is sometimes stubborn and the keypad makes a really loud beep every time you punch in the code. The safe was well worth the money though.

Great safe for the price., December 24, 2008
This review is from: Digital Electronic Safe for Home or Business - 1.0 Cubic Foot Interior Space - Gray (Misc.)
This safe was precisely what I expected for the money. Construction is solid and it serves as a deterrent to theives. My only hesitation was the beeper in the keypad. Anyone with a soldering iron can easily remove the keypad and desolder the beeper(10 minute job). Anyone not up to that job could fill the beeper with soft putty to soften the volume. My safe now functions silently as it should.
