Excellent, Affordable Cookware!
I have the blue set. This cookware is very affordable for what you get and so nice to use. I love the rubber handles that are angled upward and the see-through lids. My only complaint is that this set is not dishwasher safe. If you run these through the dishwasher, the color will fade. I have not done this because the paperwork included said not to do so, but I have...

Color comes off in water!
I was really excited to buy these, loved the color and loved the silicone handles. Unfortunately I have discovered the porcelain enamel rubs right off, even with just plain old water.

I noticed the first week I bought the set that the most of the pans already had minor smudges exposing the metal of the pan under the green paint. Then one day I was toweling off a pan I HAND WASHED and noticed the green enamel rubbed off all over the towel. I simply washed the pans with warm soapy water, nothing harsh.
I am extremely dissappointed with the quality of these pans. It is a great design but they are evidently made with very cheap workmanship.

I purchased the Rachael Ray 10-Piece Porcelain Enamel Coodware Set in Blue at the end of December 2007. The handles are securely attached. The pans are just the right weight....not too heavy and not too light. The stay cool handles are terrific. The non-stick surface is awesome...the food slides right off. The see-through lids are great so you can keep an eye on whats cooking. It has the look and feel of expensive cookware but is very reasonably priced. The only thing that I didnt know before I purchased this item was that it is not recomended to cook on high with a glass top stove. I guess the enamel can fuse to the cook top. I have a glass top stove and at first I was concerned. I cook with this cookware set on Medium High instead of high. I have not had a problem at all. In fact, I used to burn meals in my old cookware but now that I dont use high heat to cook with I have not burned a single meal! If you are looking for great cookware with outstanding quality then I highly recomend the Rachael Ray 10-Piece Porcelain Enamel Cookware Set.
******And just to add a note to my original review back in Februay 2008.......I have now owned this set for a little over 2 yrs (its now 2010) and it is still just as great as it was when I first purchased it. I am very careful that I dont use metal utensils with this set. I only use wooden or nylon (plastic) utensils which I think contributes to the long life of any non stick cookwear set.******

I loved this set, but after I started using it everyday, I realized that the design just isn't very functional and practical. Cooking oil stains the bottom of the pan-- I've been soaking the same pan in dishsoap for 2 days, scrubbing and everything. There are two circular metal pieces that attach the handle to the cooking surface; these metal pieces face the cooking surface as well, getting gunk stuck in their rivets. It's a hassle and chore every time I wash to get it clean. I'm also expecting these areas to rust ~1 year. Not to mention that the handle is shaped in a strange angle-- it puts the load on the upper area of your lower arm, instead of your stronger wrist area, making it clumsy and difficult to lift your pan with food in it. Also, if you heat this above medium heat, the pan turns an icky brown-yellow color, and returns to green as it cools agan. Blech. I've learned my lesson-- skip the pretty and invest in real cooking tools next time.

These pans are fantastic. I was worried because you should not put these pans in the dishwasher. But I took a risk. They cook great, look great, easy to clean, and they are very light. The best pans I have ever owned!!!

I was really looking forward to receiving my new cookware set....but when I opened the box and took each item out, I was very dissappointed to find that many of the pans were bent and the bottoms were not level. I was very sad to have to send the entire set back. It looked to be a manufature defect, because the items were carefully packaged and shipped.

These are very good quality pots and pans. The heat is evenly distributed for faster cooking compared to a lower quality pot & pan set. They are much lighter than I anticipated, but they still perform very well. They are also really easy to clean because of the non-stick surface. My only gripe is that the outer coating is made of porcelain; therefore, it chips very easily. If you cook on electric heat coils they may chip faster than a glass-top range. Despite the cosmetic issues these are great for the home cook. Just buy them already!

THE 2-STAR RATING APPLIES TO THE ORANGE PORCELAIN ENAMEL SET ONLY.
I bought the porcelain enamel set in orange. Loved the color. After 3 or 4 times through the dishwasher, however, the color faded immensely! They are now not even close to the original color. I then ordered the Hard Anondized set and now just use the orange set when I need extra pots. I am very pleased with the H.A. set and would give it a 4-star rating. I do like the silicone rubber handles on both sets; and the lids are nicely configured. I wish the set came with 1 qt, 2 qt, and 3 qt saucepans, though. This set only has 1-1/2 qt and 3 qt saucepans; I find that I really miss the in-between size.

GREAT COOKWARE...BEAUTIFUL COLOR AND I LOVE THE DEPTH OF THE POTS. THE ONLY THINK I AM NOT PLEASED W/IS THAT THE COOKWARE IS ALREADY TURNING A LITTLE BLACK ON THE BOTTOM AND WE HAVE ONLY USED IT A COUPLE OF TIMES. ALSO, THEY CANNOT GO IN THE DISHWASHER WHICH IS ANOTHER CON. OTHER THAN THAT, GOOD ITEM.

I have been wanting a decent set of pots for a long time and now I have it. They are great. The pot sizes are great for culinary adventures big and small and they are so easy to clean. The colour is amazing.
Overall, these are great pots
