4.0 out of 5 stars Easy Setup and Fast
This is mostly a response to the previous review. I have the printer networked and it finishes my print job before I have time to walk to the printer that is 25ft away. I installed the card that allows it to print duplex (both sides) and it worked fine. You do have to install the drivers again. The ip address might change for the printer as well.

The print quality of this printer is good. In that capacity it is everything we were hoping for.

However, we purchased this printer because we needed something that was network aware. We were tired of having one of us connected to the printer via USB and the rest of us having to link through that person's computer to print. Well, this printer allows you to...

I have only used it for a couple of days. I have 5 computers printing to it. It is fast and the duplex works well. The quality is not as good as I expected. But I am still tweaking the settings.

The print quality of this printer is good. In that capacity it is everything we were hoping for.

However, we purchased this printer because we needed something that was network aware. We were tired of having one of us connected to the printer via USB and the rest of us having to link through that person's computer to print. Well, this printer allows you to connect to it through the network as well as directly through the USB, which sounds great, but no... it literally takes a minute and a half for the print job to get to the printer over the network. Maybe that doesn't sound like a lot as you read this, but my god, it's an eternity when you are working and you just want a one page document printed. No wonder people hang out at the water cooler at work. They own Xerox printers and are forced to loiter ad nauseum as they wait for their documents to print.

The other thing that would make me not recommend this printer is that ostensibly you can add a chip to it that will allow it to do double sided prints. Basically, the idea is that you simply plug the new chip in the back and you have a 6360DN instead of a 6360N. Well, good luck getting it to work. Two of us spent about three hours trying to get it up and running, but to no avail. My guess is that the previous driver that we installed is conflicting with the new driver. I expect this kind of stuff from my $100 Linksys router. With a printer this expensive I think I may have been foolishly hoping for a bit more.

Also, we were prepared for this, but it's worth noting... this sucker is loud! The thing idles like a standup fan from the 80s. If you have to sit near it, better own a pair of Bose noise canceling headphones (now there's a good product - too bad they don't make printers).
