My husband loves it, I think it's pretty nice too.
It's lightweight and easily carried from one room to the next. It heats up a small room within a matter of minutes. It has a thermometer so it can shut off when it reaches a certain temperature and then kick back on when the temperature gets below the desired temp. (Or you can choose to set the timer and just have it run constantly for a certain time frame). It comes...

Works really great... within 2 feet of it
Product looks nice, sturdily built. Features are cool with the remote.
One thing though... if you're beyond 2 feet of it you won't feel jack. Course, I use it in my workshop which is a converted garage and so I keep it within 2 feet of me so it works really great.

It's lightweight and easily carried from one room to the next. It heats up a small room within a matter of minutes. It has a thermometer so it can shut off when it reaches a certain temperature and then kick back on when the temperature gets below the desired temp. (Or you can choose to set the timer and just have it run constantly for a certain time frame). It comes with a remote control. What more could you ask for in a portable heater? It's a great value. My husband is amazed at how quiet it is. I personally think it's a little noisey but I'm extra sensitive to that. It's nowhere near as noisey as a dishwashing machine or major appliance. My only complaint is that it wakes me every time it kicks on during the night. (I'm a REALLY light sleeper.) I love the warmth but I hate getting a terrible night sleep. It doesn't wake my husband and he raves about how 'quiet' it is.

Easy to put together. Tucks away into a corner nicely so it takes up very little room. Very easy to use and the remote is extremely handy. Relatively quiet (soft fan noise when on). Heats the room up fast and constantly monitors to maintain desired temperature. Highly recommended.

Strong Product with Digital Readout, March 23, 2009

In my opinion, the product performs exactly as advertised. The product throws out ample heat to sufficiently add heat to any average sized bedroom. The produce uses digital readout for temperature and for timed settings. If the operator sets the temperature at 75 degrees and sets the unit to operate on "Automatic", the unit will start heating when the temperature drops to 74 and will continue to heat until the temperature reaches 2 degrees above the setting (i.e. 77 degrees for the example). I set the unit to run on timed function to insure that the unit gets turned off when I am away from the heater.

This space heater is not bad, but seems to take 20 minutes to get a medium sized room up to temperature. Actually, it only heats in a 8 foot radius. It's best quality is that it is very quiet.

This is the best heater I've ever bought, and I have bought several of all kinds over the years. I bought is about 8-9 months ago and have used it for most of that time. I use it in the baby's nursery, which is a converted 2nd floor porch, making it the coldest room in the house. The thermostat is just what I was looking for. Like another reviewer wrote, sometimes the thermostat was off a few degrees (less than actual room temp), but I noticed that this occurs when there's a pocket of warm air in the room (we have hot water radiators so there is very little air current). I have resolved this issue by turning the oscillation on and placing the heater closer to the windows, and it has read the temps accurately since. When you set the temp at 79 degrees, the heater kicks on at 78 and shuts off at 82. I wish the range was a little smaller. It is the most reliable heater I've had, lightweight yet very sturdy, would buy it again.

This a great space heater, but it's thermostat is a bit off the mark. It is very quiet, looks good, and very easy to assemble. The only drawback was that every once in a while I wake up to use the facilities and freeze on my way, then look down to see what it thinks the temperature is and see a happy green light display "72" and I think "this thing is on crack", though this doesn't happen all that often. Overall a great buy for the price.

Perfect to warm up a cold bedroom, November 25, 2009

Have been using this for a month now and couldn't be happier. I am so pleased with the thermostat feature as this ensures a good consisntency in the temperature of our bedroom. Its just not cold enough to turn the whole house heater on overnight but the bedroom does get a little chilly so this was perfect to only warm up our bedroom temp. It is very quiet and does not wake us up at night when it goes on. Love the remote control feature too. Definitely recommend.

Works even better than I expected. Fairly sophisticated yet very simple and self-explanatory to use. Quiet, attractive and heats up my bedroom quickly. Remote control makes it super convenient.
