no stars! horrible & a waste of money.
what a surprise my bad review on their own website somehow didn't show up with all of those fake ones......

Foul tasting substitute from when absinthe was still illegal., March 27, 2008
The tincture this creates is the worst tasting substance I have ever experienced. I poured it out after tasting only a sip.
Absinthe is readily available in the US and the real stuff tastes great. Save yourself the time and money and buy the real thing! There are many places on the internet that will ship absinthe to your door.

NOT EVEN CLOSE!! , October 15, 2008
YUCK!!
this stuff shouldnt be called "absinthe".. it is not even close to anything ive ever tasted..
even though i filtered the stuff twice as many times as they suggest in the directions, if left alone for a little while in the glass, solids will begin to flocculate into globs of goo in the drink..
when i tried to get an answer to a question about the recipe from the makers(not the seller).. the answer i got from them was very cryptic.. when i tried to get a clarification on their answer, they didnt respond to my inquiries, no way no how..
on top of that, when all is said and done, it cost just as much to make this hooey as would have been to just purchase the less expensive stuff in the store..
i wouldnt recommend this product to anyone, not even my ex-wife..
