Good sound, bad sound...
Comfortable fit and good bass sound, but, I agree with the one-star review that said the sound of the cord vibrating through your ear bones when walking/running/working out can drive one to distraction. It really can. But when listening while sitting still (on the train, at my desk), the sound is fine. Glad I did not pay full price or I would have returned.

Pros:
Bass frequencies are ridiculous!
Nifty little carrying pouch thing.
Different size ear inserts (which are really handy!)
Stickers.
Cons:
SERIES 1 (read below to see why this is bad)
Alright. When I bought these, I thought "Ooh, sweet deal! $23 for a pair of FMJs." I even paid for express shipping. I thought I was getting the best of the best. I thought I was getting the most current earbuds too. I thought since they were new, they would be BRAND NEW. Well, guess what? They weren't. Currently, the SC-FMJ series 2 are the most current. THESE ARE SERIES 1! There are multiple problems with the series 1s that it seems people have just been a little touch and go on. I am going to tell you everything you need to know about them.
Differences between the series 1 and the series 2:
Actual Speaker Size
The series 1 has a speaker size of 9mm, while the series 2 has a speaker size of 11mm, giving a overall better sound.
Frequency Range (VERY IMPORTANT)
The frequency range of the series 1 is only 18Hz to 20kHz. The series 2 can go 2Hz lower than that. This gives an overall fuller sound.
Overall sound balance problems (BIG PROBLEM)
The series 2 FMJs sound nothing like the series 1. With the series 1, there is a weird balance between bass and highs. Mids are fine. Bass is WAY overbearing the highs. I enjoy having nice, crisp sound, when instead I am getting horrible bass clipping (not due to any EQ; turned off and it still did it).
No foam inserts
Now this isn't a problem with me, considering I still have some of my foam inserts from when I bought my TiTaNs, but some people might want these, and the series 1 does not come with them.
Actual wire
In the series 2 FMJs, you can see that the wire for them is a special type of aluminum foil, reducing noise generated by the cable. The series 1 has those cheap rubber cables, causing a loud noise if you move the cable much.
So why am I telling you all of this? So that you will know. Just go on Skullcandy's website and look yourself. Prove to yourself that these are not the best. I would highly recommend you wait to buy these until you can verify that you can get series 2 earbuds at this price. But if you really want them, they are not too horrible. They are sure as heck better than any INK'D or Smokin' Buds offered by the same company.
Tested on:

I really like the sound that these earbuds provide and the noise cancelling is awsome, but the sound of the cord creates a lot of problems. I also recieved a pair that had wiring issues that caused one of the earbuds to sporadically quit working. The company has an awsome warranty and is replacing them free of charge, but it is a pain to have to wait the 4-10 weeks for the replacements.

I bought 2 pairs. One for my wife and one for me (pink because of the super low price). Hope no one sees me wearing these - Ha Ha. These produce a super solid sound. Couldn't beleive the bass! Fantastic! I have had no problem with the cord vibrating sound on the ear bone while music or audio is playing. Can be heard if there is no audio playing (this is true with all earbuds). These are very well made of aluminum, very small (much smaller than they appear in the picture) and light weight. The cord is good quality, quite long and really great with the volume control built into the cord (wouldn't own a pair without it - don't have to control volume from the stereo device). I use the medium silicon ear piece and my wife uses the small. Seals into the ear canal perfectly and stays in place until we remove them. Our HP laptop has 2 earphone jacks so we can watch a movie together and control the volume seperatly (If your laptop has only one jack buy a cheap 3.5 audio splitter to plug into the jack and plug the FMJs into it - you'll be good to go) (The FMJs are perfect for this with GREAT stereo sound). We also use them for our individual cell phones (BlackBerry Curve for me - LG Lotus for her - had to buy a short 3 ring stereo audio 3.5mm female to 2.5mm male audio adapter for her LG due to her cells 2.5mm earphone jack) to listen to mp3 music and watch full length movies I have loaded onto the 8 gig micro SDHC memory cards in each phone(both have large screens). The stereo sound quality is truely wonderful. Don't pass up the opportunity to own a set of these 9mm Full Metal Jacket earphones at this amazingly low price (retail $60. and well worth that price) especially when the Skull Candy company offers such a great warranty - they will replace if they fail and 50% off even if you break them (though if you take decent care of them I don't think that would be easy to do). They come in retail package with a nice quality small white zippered carry case with built in inner pocket and 3 sizes of changeable silicon ear pieces for a good ear fit. Great deal on Amazon (about 1/3rd retail price). Free shipping was much quicker than they say it will be! (Love them though it will take a real confident man to wear the pink color in public! I'm 60 plus years so I don't think anyone really cares what color I use! Remember I bought this color because of the Great price compared to any other color offered at the time of purchase. So please try to understand if you see me in public!! Thanks)

They constantly fall out of my ear. The noise of the cord rustling against your clothing is broadcast through the bones in your head louder than the music you're listening to. In those rare moments when they stay put and you remain perfectly still the sound quality is good.

Sure, the ad says you can "Walk and Talk at the Same Time Skullcandy's FMJ lets you walk and talk at the same time, compatible with the iPhone and Blackberry Curve."
NOPE. These are Full Metal Jackets WITHOUT the Mic.

These buds can take a beating. I have kids and most importantly a 2-year-old who likes to get my buds and drag them around and they eventually become a helicopter, cat toy, or whatever imaginative thing she can think of to do with them. The only reason I gave them 4/5 stars is because they do pick up what I call "stethoscope" sound. If the wire taps against anything you get a hit noise. Otherwise they are perfect.

I purchased these simply because they were on a Lightning Deal and I needed new earbuds and the price was right. What a shock when I tried them - the sound out of these is absolutely incredible! Granted; I've never purchased high-end earbuds before - but these actually have better sound than the VERY high-dollar full-sized headphones I have for everyday use. I would recommend these to anybody looking for fantastic sound - they sincerely won't disappoint you.

These were definitely not worth the money. I read a review on here that said you could hear the sound of the cord moving. I thought, oh well I still give them a try. That person was right! You can hear the cord every time you move it. So if you want to move at all while using your music player, DON'T BUY THESE!!!

Pros:
1. Insulates listener from outside sounds pretty effectively.
2. Choice of earbud covers helps a lot - a good fit helps keep the earbuds in your ears while moving.
3. Has a volume control on the cord.
4. Comes with a case.
5. Looks cool, if you like metallic pink.
Cons:
1. Emphasizes bass too much. Sound becomes "muddy."
2. Cord makes a very noticeable noise every time it scrapes against anything, like your shirt. Not good for exercising or moving around much while using.
