4.0 out of 5 stars small compact, February 11, 2008
This review is from: Coast 7300 Laser Pointer with Keychain (Tools & Hardware)
arrived on/before promised date. used as a cat toy, she loves it. only thing is that there is no on/off switch. you have to keep pressing down on it if you want it to stay on. other than that, small compact and I am not sorry I ordered it. 5/2/08: one more thing to add-battery runs out quickly (1st time within 2 weeks and when I went to Radio Shack to replace them (3 of them) it was the one battery they didn't stock. so I bought a $10 toy that turned out to have the same battery-if I had bough the batteries indiv. it would of cost me $12+. However, again those batteries expired with in a month. I suggest getting a laser pointer with a common battery.

I've tried the laser-pens and all sorts of keychain options, and this is the only one that has survived my travels (officially, I broke SIX other lasers, including one that weighs almost half a pound, while I've had this one for over two years now). It's well constructed, sturdy, light-weight, and really lasts. Yes, have extra batteries with you on those important presentations, and yes, there is no "on switch," but this little guy will not let you down.

I clip this one to a retractable string on my ID badge, and always have a pointer for meetings and presentations. I frequently end up handing my entire badge rig to a peer so they can use it to do their presentations (it actually unhooks, but then I'd never get it back!).

I was only looking for a small keychain laser and this is perfect. Good quality. Pretty heavy in the hand. Decent brightness. Came on time.
