Excellent Substitution, January 8, 2008
Durability: Fun: Educational:
This review is from: HOT WHEELS The Batman Batcave Training Run (Toy)
I was desperately looking for a basic Hot Wheels Starter Track when an Amazon.com search revealed this "Batman" version of the same. With the exception of color, and the freebie car included, it was an identical track. An excellent substitution for several reasons - 1, my son doesn't care what color it is, 2, there were no regular starter tracks to be found online or off just before Christmas, and 3, it was cheaper than the regular version! Thanks, amazon.com. It has turned out to be a favorite Christmas present - it is a simple beginner track that he can operate on his own (he's 4), it's fairly quiet, and it is also fairly compact.

Only ok, somewhat good., August 28, 2009
Durability: Fun: Educational:
This review is from: HOT WHEELS The Batman Batcave Training Run (Toy)
This toy is an ok starter set, but not all the good. The pictures on the box are not accurate. For example, the loop is a solid piece of grey plastic w/o any cut outs. The Amazon photo shows the correct solid piece. The box shows a cool hot wheels car zipping around the track. The included car is hardly worthy of having the hot wheels name and just barely makes it around the track (junker bat car). Replace the car with two decent hot wheels cars and watch them zip around (and sometimes crash at the junction). My box (and instructions) only showed two track configurations while the Amazon description indicated 3. The track needs to be secured down to a solid surface or it wobbles too much and eventually starts to separate or the car(s)lose speed. It also comes w/a 12 min animated "Batmans Greatest Chase Scense" DVD. This is nothing more than 8 short video clips not worth watching. For some reason they also include a small plastic guy and two small pylons. These are a waste of material and will be lost or stepped on quickly. Overall, it's easy to assemble, the car(s) stay on the track and my 2 yr old son can turn it on/off and enjoy "racing cars". I deducted one star since the included car is not worthy.

My 4 yr. old's favorite race track!, April 20, 2009
Durability: Fun: Educational:
This review is from: HOT WHEELS The Batman Batcave Training Run (Toy)
Had researched race tracks for an early 4 yr old and found that most of them are too frustrating to make work like the commercials. This one is perfect! It is easy to set up and works great, he doesn't need someone sitting there to constantly repair the track and it's still one of his favorite toys. This racetrack makes him feel like a "big guy". Fast shipping also.

My Son Really Likes It, December 25, 2009
Durability: Fun: Educational:
This review is from: HOT WHEELS The Batman Batcave Training Run (Toy)
I was not sure how great this was going to be, but we were pleasntly surprised. It is very easy to assemble - my 5 year old can put it together and take it apart any time he wants. The car will make it all the way around to the thing that starts it again, so it will keep going for you. He is enjoying it and is already figuring out how much track he can add and if a lighter weight car might go faster. The 1-star for "educational value" is not a knock on it. It's just a race track.

Big hit with 4 yr. old grandson!, December 2, 2009
Durability: Fun: Educational:

Easy assembly got us running in minutes. This track has been engineered to run very fast with a number of his different Hot Wheels. He enjoyed seeing which ones "flew" the best!

Nice little Hotwheels set, March 3, 2009
Durability: Fun: Educational:
This review is from: HOT WHEELS The Batman Batcave Training Run (Toy)
I bought this for my 4 year old daughter since she was interested in Hotwheels cars. It's a nice basic set that sets up easily and works well. Very fast loop and track speed. We have since bought additional track and about a dozen more cars because she has so much fun with it. Plus it gives her some quality daddy time since I like to play with it too!

A great playset for your little BatKid, September 3, 2008
Durability: Fun: Educational:
This review is from: HOT WHEELS The Batman Batcave Training Run (Toy)
I bought this race track for my 3 year old daughter who has seemed to taken a liking for BatMan. I set the track up in under 5 minutes and before you know it, she laughed with delight as the Batmobile raced around the track. Best 20 bucks I spent in a long time, the look on her face was priceless. The track is easy to assemble/disassemble. The car does not go whizzing off the track, and the motorized 'pusher' is not loud at all.
