BEST SLEEP I HAVE EVER HAD!!!
I just want to say...if you are on the fence about purchasing this memory foam mattress cover and the free pillows that come with it.....BUY IT!! Both of us are having the best sleep of our lives now. He has sleep apnea and I am a major insomniac that wakes up every 20 minutes. We bought this...and now (NO KIDDING) I don't wake up at all and he is waking up feeling...

My back hurt
I suffered through sleeping on this mattress pad for many painful months, but my significant other liked it. Finally, about a month ago, I convinced her to remove it from our futon. I feel so much better! I guess, with these things it is really personal!

I just want to say...if you are on the fence about purchasing this memory foam mattress cover and the free pillows that come with it.....BUY IT!! Both of us are having the best sleep of our lives now. He has sleep apnea and I am a major insomniac that wakes up every 20 minutes. We bought this...and now (NO KIDDING) I don't wake up at all and he is waking up feeling VERY well rested. Heck....we are so comfortable that he has been late for work a lot lately. So, if you do get this...invest in a LOUD alarm clock!
As for back pain...I was in a severe car accident and have constant back pain. He had suddenly started getting back pain for no apparent reason. Once we got the mattress pad (memory foam), his back pain completely went away and mine is about 60% better.
Let me just say something quick about the pillows too....they are FABULOUS. We stored our old pillows away after one night on these memory foam pillows. We were quite pleasantly surprised with them. We THOUGHT they would just be crappy little free pillows that came with the expensive mattress cover....but NO.....they are quite thick and VERY comfortable. They do lose their shape every night...so we have to spend about 5 seconds per day putting them back into proper shape. Quite frankly, I don't mind that at all. THey are THE best pillows I ever laid my head on!
WHAT A GREAT DEAL! I AM A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE NOW!!! (And we figure...even if these only last a year before needing replaced, we don't care! We will just buy a new one every year if that is what it takes to stay sleeping this well.)
EVERYONE ON EARTH SHOULD HAVE THIS!!!

Preliminary results - great!, June 11, 2009
It arrived a couple of days ago, and we took it out to air it out and let it expand. Reading the reviews, I had expected it to smell bad at first - but it really didn't at all, and believe me, I am sensitive to chemical odors. We were able to bring it in much sooner than we expected, in fact, because it also expanded quickly. Last night was our first night on this item and it really is a huge improvement over our rather expensive mattress. I didn't wake up in pain as I usually do, because of back injuries. So I am happy and I think I'll take a nap today.

The cats love it too. This will help keep them inside.

this product is worth every penny. the topper makes all the differance in my bed. The only complaint I have is the two free pillows are garbage...

Very Comfortable, May 10, 2009
This pad is extremely comfortable and does not slide on the bed. It is heavy so unpacking it is a little awkward. It holds up well after several uses it restores to being like new. This is not like normal foam. It is worth the price.

Mattress Pad for Pregnant Wife, April 20, 2009
My wife and I purchased the topper to extend the life of our current mattress. My wife is pregnant and was having trouble getting into a comfortable position while in bed. Once the topper arrived and was aired out (you'll need to allow it at least 24 hours), I can happily report that she is able to get comfortable and sleep better then prior to the topper. I myself do not feel her getting out of bed for the frequent trips to the bathroom.
Delivery of the pad and pillows was prompt, arrived sooner then the seller indicated. The pad/topper fits our queen sized mattress exactly. The 4" thickness has been a challenge in finding fitted sheets that stay on (clips are helping). We found that the two pillows that came with the pad are too firm for our liking. In all, we are pleased with the topper, and a bit disappointed with the pillows.

needs a few days of ventilation, May 29, 2009
The mattress topper is comfortable and I certainly sleep better than I had on my old very hard mattress. I'm not that impressed with the pillows.
It took several days for the strong chemical smell, that others have also reported, to be low enough to use the mattress and pillows, but even after several weeks I did smell it a little bit.

Let me say up front that this memory foam mattress sleeps very comfortably - that is once you can stand to have it in your house! The problem with the mattress is a very strong chemical odor left over from the manufacturing process. The culprit is the combination of chemicals used in creating a higher viscosity level (the memory foam) that leaves behind a very strong chemical smell. Lucky for us - with time - the smell dissipates and is almost imperceptible, though some may continue to be sensitive to it.
Therefore the question becomes, "How long does it take to air out?" My answer is, "Good question!" From my personal experience it took about 12 days for the smell to be nearly imperceptible. Luckily, my house is attached to a small airplane hangar, so I had plenty of room and air flow to allow the mattress a chance to dispel its chemical funkiness. I do suffer from occasional bouts of asthma and allergies, but after letting the mattress air out I have experienced absolutely no problems whatsoever due to the chemical smell.
Now, the BIG question - "How does the mattress sleep?" Very well, thank you! I have just recently undergone spine surgery (a level two fusion) and I have slept very well on this memory foam mattress. The reduction in pressure points is truly amazing and I can lay very comfortably on my back, or sides with little to no discomfort (remember I just had spine surgery - so this is amazing).
My recommendation would be to try the mattress, I found that it sleeps very well - that is if you are willing to wait for it to air out!

Great sleep, June 30, 2008
I use this on top of a firm memory foam mattress and I am now sleeping like a baby. The only issue is that it does not have a cover(reason for 4 stars). The pillows are great also, too bad they are now bigger.
