Great Bag!
I have had my large tote for over 3 years. It is race car red. About 2 years ago I realized that it was starting to look dingy and I couldn't spot clean it, so I threw it in the washing machine with some red towels. I let it air dry and it came out looking brand new! I have machine washed it 2 more times since and it still looks great. Keep in mind, that Harveys does...

Good and Bad
so i ordered the large satchel handbag in the black with white polka dots and i love it but.....IT'S HEAVY! i guess i should have expected that since it is made of seatbelts! lol. but is there anyway to make it not as heavy? i'm hoping that with time it will get worn in and wont be as stiff and heavy.

I let it air dry and it came out looking brand new! I have machine washed it 2 more times since and it still looks great. Keep in mind, that Harveys does NOT say you can throw it in the washer :). I love my bag so much I just ordered a new one in a different color. You can't go wrong with these bags.

Harvey's is amazing!!! I own a Champagne large satchel and it everything one could ever think of fits inside it. Books, CDs, makeup, camera, car parts... you name it. Durable, Durable! Besides some very small fraying strings (can be fixed with a cig. lighter when they occur), this bag is indestructable (sp?). Forget about a strap breaking, it won't happen!! Harvey's reccomends spot cleaning with a toothbrush and mild detergent. I threw mine in the wash on gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent, then hang dry. Came out in perfect shape with perfect shape!! P.S. I own multiple Harvey's Bags and love them all.

Best bag on the market!, December 11, 2007
This is the best bag I have ever carried! This was my third Harvey's purchase, the first was a medium tote in race car red about 5 years ago. I was still carrying it all the time until I got this one. The bag still looks like new and is showing no signs of wear after 5 years! I liked it so much I bought the same bag in blue. Now, I have the large satchel in chocolate brown (from the Harvey's website) and it is awesome, I love the zip top and the extra interior pockets keep me organized. You will not regret a purchase from Harvey's. The only time I ever returned a bag to them was when I was given the diaper bag, I loved the look but it was WAY too heavy.

great conversation starter, January 9, 2009
I have had my large satchel for over a year now, and I LOVE it! It's the only purse I carry. I have one in the pink/brown rugby pattern, and I get so many compliments. Everyone I talk to wants to know where I bought it. I have 4 kids (aged 16-2), so I need something large enough to carry everything I could possibly need for them, AND be strudy enough to hold up. This bag fits the bill. It can be a little heavy after a while, but that's a small price to pay for such a great bag. Mine still looks brand new. I also have the full wallet, and love it just as much as my purse. It is well worth the money. We even bought our 16 and 13 year old girls each one.

Best Bag Ever, April 1, 2008
Who needs a Coach or Dooney when you've got a Harvey's Seatbelt Bag. WE live overseas on an aAF base and everyone has the same bag-except me!!!I don't see myself coming and going. I'm original with my handbag.This is my second Harvey's Bag, had to get the Mojito in the large satchel size. OMG it is even better than the medium which is awesome. Just a little more room for when we travel, so I can put a book, sunglasses, his!! and other extras I like in my carry on. Get the Mojito if you're into green-it's a gorgeous color. I''m so tempted to get another one now in another color-but hubby would have my hide.

Wow what a great bag. Everyone wants to know where I got it. Tell them it's made from recycled seatbelts and they will "go green" with envy.
Plenty of room for all your stuff and pockets for cell phone for quick grabs. You will love this one!!

I Love this bag..., January 23, 2008
And so does everyone else. This is my first Harvey's bag, got it in black, I get comments/compliments on it all the time. Its large enough to hold everything you need, including a small foldup umbrella, but not TOO big and bulky. Its a stylish conversation piece & very sharp in black. I will buy another one for sure......
