Beautiful Authentic Watch for a great price
This is a great purchase for someone who knows what they want and don't need the fuss of going to their local Cartier dealer to get it. If you feel the additional price tag is somehow worth it - fine, but otherwise you are still getting the same craftsmanship, brand, and quality that you would expect from Cartier while still getting a good deal. Never Give a Cartier Buyer an Even Break
My Cartier satori came when I discovered an NOS manual wind Glycine, which I bought for $28.00 on eBay, had THE EXACT SAME ETA MOVEMENT as the equivalent exorbitantly-priced Cartier. Plus it even LOOKS BETTER. Such are the dynamics of advertising, brand, ego, insecurity thereof, and image.
Don't get me wrong--it's a free country. You have every right to waste...

This is a great purchase for someone who knows what they want and don't need the fuss of going to their local Cartier dealer to get it. If you feel the additional price tag is somehow worth it - fine, but otherwise you are still getting the same craftsmanship, brand, and quality that you would expect from Cartier while still getting a good deal. Amazon was great as always!
As for a review of this particular item - I really liked that it was a lightweight leather band as opposed to a stiff band. The clasp is a little tight on the first couple of uses, but that is to be expected. It is a perfect business/day watch and was exactly the classic look I was hoping it would be.

Don't get me wrong--it's a free country. You have every right to waste your money on a Cartier. And Cartier has every right--nay even a DUTY--to relieve you of your presumably hard-earned cash. But forgive me, sir, if I am NOT IMPRESSED.
