AWESOME!
I purchased this for our 5 year old Kindergarten son. He REALLY wanted it and as a reward for academic achievement we purchased this last night. He put half of it together last night by himself and completed the rest this morning waking before 6 a.m. to do so. He absolutely loves this police vehicle. I love that he can follow directions to build it, strengthen fine...

Fun Lego set, box size is deceiving
As always, Lego's are a fun family project. However, the picture on the side of the box and the size of the box are deceptive for what the actual build size is. My comparison would be like a bag of chips from Costco (usually about half full after you open it). A little disappointing and the trailer is really too small to do much with.

I purchased this for our 5 year old Kindergarten son. He REALLY wanted it and as a reward for academic achievement we purchased this last night. He put half of it together last night by himself and completed the rest this morning waking before 6 a.m. to do so. He absolutely loves this police vehicle. I love that he can follow directions to build it, strengthen fine motor skills with small parts and use imaginative play. It is now about noon and he has not stopped playing with this toy. I highly recommned this one! Thanks Lego!!

I think this is one of the best lego sets iv'e ever gotten!!! The police men and rober are well detailed. both with hats have white hats a bage a giant pocket whith a tie 6 buttons a black suite and black sleevs. one has a clear viser a printed walkei talkei 3 zippers a bage a white belt and grey gloves. The rober has a black hat a shirt with grey stripes and white stripes 5 buttons a number that says 50380 grey pants and white sleevs with a gold tooth. this set come with a cup a flash light 3 hand cuffs 2 walike talkies a thing that tells your speed 2 cones and a stand. theres a little geep.a tower with a camra a antania a dish thing 6 stairs a stick thing that moves up and down a raidar thing and messge thing. and theres the truck it has a storage for your gear empty space to put the rober in and a place where you make him confess.

Got this for a childs birthday gift. He was so happy, he opened it and played with it for the rest of the day. I will be getting another for my child.

The Lego Police Command Center was the missing piece to our 5 year olds Lego collection. He considered it his #1 birthday gift! He has played with some component of the command center, each day for the past 3 weeks.

My 5-year old loves legos, and this one in particular, he built and took apart, then re-built, probably 4 times. He loves it. Only problem I have with it is that the only thing he really took interest in was the actual truck. The rest that is included with it didn't seem to keep his intereest and once he completed it a few times, he moved on to something else.... which meant he wanted more legos. And legos aren't cheap!

Legos have come a long way since most of us were children. This was a gift my nephew adored and spent hours building and using. As an elemntary teacher, one can appreciate toys which use that architectural sense of spatial intelligence. Our entire family was astounded by the design, quality, and detail of this particular set. Once you purhase this, other orders of Legos will be in your future as well!

As a counterpoint to the person who lamented that this product is too complicated for a 5 year old, I have to disagree. My 5 year old had no problem building this at all, but then we've been a Lego family since he was born, so maybe that helps.
This is a great design, with tons of playability. It's really too bad that Lego likes to make so many police things though. Where are all the peace-loving citizens?

My 7 year old son has some of the larger lego sets, however they require more "pretend" play than he likes as compared to lego vehicles. This set has the vehicles that he loves as the main focus and the larger vehicle IS a pretend play set on wheels! It's a fun challenge to build and matches all different lego city sets or my son even plays this when he needs any kind of "universal lego law enforcement".

Bought this for my son for Christmas. His favorite toy and a month and a half later he still plays with it every day. He built it with his Dad and then a few weeks later started taking it apart and creatively rearranging the pieces. He's very proud of his first big lego toy.
