star wars lego set
I purchased several star war themed lego sets for my 7 year old grandson's birthday. I was very impressed with how great they look and hold together. He needed a little help putting them together but loved them and can't wait to get more.

Grandpa Wanting to Please the Grandkids
My Grandchildren wanted a Starwars Lego set. I did some product research and decided on this item. It has many small pieces and was difficult for the 8 year old to assemble. In fact, he had to have his uncle assemble it. Although it made a nice toy when finished, I would not suggest this as a play item. It was a lot of money for a bunch of plastic. Although I have...

I think that this is a very cool set, nice and affordable. Unfortunatly, the R2-D2 ejection button doesn't work all that well, but it's still a cool set!

My boys are 5 and 8. They both love Legos and Star Wars. They each have Anakin's Fighter. They really enjoyed putting them together, with help. They play with them frequently. They love R2-D2!

My son recently recieved this for a birthday present. He put it together by himself (he's 7). You get an Anakin Skywalker and an R2D2 plus the ship. The ship is very nicely designed and holds up to some serious battle attacks in our living room.
This set does look like it should be a pricier model. This is a very fun lego set - easy to put together, durable, two lego dudes, highly sought after star wars vehicle.

My son just turned 5 and loves Star Wars and recently became interested in Legos. Although the instructions are easy for him to follow because they are just pictures, sometimes it does call for adult interaction on the smaller pieces and stickers. Its a great hour or so for us to spend together while we build it and then he plays for hours with it along with the other sets. Only down side is the small pieces and if it breaks you have to pull the instructions out again..but that is expected with all lego sets like this.

This is an awesome product for the Lego Star Wars collector. It's one of their more affordable products in the series and one which can take rough playing as the pieces are not flimsy.

My 6 year old son (and his little sister) are avid Star Wars fans, and they like the Lego version better than the original. This was one of his birthday presents. He loves it as is, and needed only a moderate amount of help assembling it. But being a Lego toy, assembly was not the end. As soon as he grew tired of it in its "normal" configuration, he invented numerous ways to change it. It is now part of half a dozen other Star Wars-inspired creations and continues to provide daily entertainment.

My 8 year old thoroughly enjoyed the process of putting this together. It was a great learning experience on how to follow detailed instructions and the cause and effect of not doing so. The down side is that the little pieces don't stay together well and it can be very frustrating to pretend play with it. If you are looking for something to challenge someone who is creative and likes to build and create something new all the time, it's a great toy. If you are looking for something for a Star Wars fan who likes to imagine and act out their own battles and scenes, stick with a non-Lego toy.
