KY Yours+Mine... Y or Y Not?
I decided to give this product 4 stars instead of 3 because of the anticipation & thrill that led my fiancé and I to go out, find, then actually get to use this new product (not to mention that for some reason, I'm in a good mood today). Clever marketing, clever packaging, and known product quality mix together well to produce a raised eyebrow on men & women alike...

You must be wondering--his & her lubricant? Is it just a marketing scam? Two bottles of the same stuff in his/hers color containers perhaps?
Actually, there is a difference between the two. "His" lubricant is warm and actually becomes a hint gritty and dry when used, perhaps with the intention of making matters feel 'tighter'. "Hers" on the other hand, is...

I decided to give this product 4 stars instead of 3 because of the anticipation & thrill that led my fiancé and I to go out, find, then actually get to use this new product (not to mention that for some reason, I'm in a good mood today). Clever marketing, clever packaging, and known product quality mix together well to produce a raised eyebrow on men & women alike.
The Experience:
The blue test tube is for guys. Once applied, the guy will notice a slight warming sensation, very similar if not the same, to that of their "Touch Massage" warming liquid. Not a bad sensation at all, especially if you have your partner applying it to you. The purple test tube is for the ladies. Once applied, the woman will notice a slight cooling/tingling sensation, very similar if not the same, to that of their "Touch Massage" tingling liquid. When mixed, these two products combine and each partner can feel the other's sensation. In my case, I felt her cooling sensation (extremely cooling at times, especially upon withdrawal). All in all, not bad, but we've felt it before with KY's Touch Massage warming & tingling liquids. Easily washes off with water. Keep in mind that both vials are interchangeable and experimentation is encouraged.
What's better? KY Intrigue Heat
If you have not had the pleasure with this product, I would seriously recommend trying it. The future Mrs. and I agree that this stuff is, by far, our favorite. The intrigue heat is very slippery and INTENSLY warm. KY's other warming products are only slightly warming & slightly noticeable however the Heat in Intrigue is VERY nice. I think that this product is silicone based because it is not water-soluble, so you will need soap and water to wash it off (it is well worth the cleanup effort). Want a coupon? Actually, there is a difference between the two. "His" lubricant is warm and actually becomes a hint gritty and dry when used, perhaps with the intention of making matters feel 'tighter'. "Hers" on the other hand, is cold and wet feeling, and actually leaves things feeling cool...with a bite. You could kind of compare its effect to a strong mint that you pop in your mouth, such as an Altoid, that is yummy, but has a hardcore edge to it that takes some getting used to--for an extra thrill, HE can use HERS when he's alone to get a sensation that I personally feel is more interesting and unique than the HIS lotion offers.
The worst problem with the lubricants is the packaging. Each lubricant is in a test tube shaped container with a pop top. Which means, they can't stand on there own, but have to be left on their sides. Even with the top closed tight, I found one of my lubricants leaking ALL over the place. Not exactly practical.

Yours & Mine is a great marketing ploy with clever and attractive test tube packaging.
This intimate KY lubricant was a pleasant surprise. My wife and I are not into using such products normally, but we figured we'd give this one a try. When opening the bottles, the aroma is tantalizing and not overpowering. Blue for him, purple for her. A little goes a long way, and as you would expect, half the fun is having your partner apply it where it counts, and then returning the favor yourself. Yours (the guy's) is a warming lube and provides a very tactile experience. Hers (the gal's) is a cooling lube, something like a York peppermint patty for the, er, well, you know. The product's gimmick is a good one, and when the two lubes mingle, they become very slippery and each partner gets to experience the sensations that the other was feeling as well as their own. Overall, it lent itself to a fun and intimate experience when used as a foreplay aid. The nature of the liquid makes it a good massage lubricant as well, and the formula washes off easily with water.
The only real drawback we found to Yours & Mine was one of the pluses too -- the packaging. The little test tubes don't sit too snugly in their holder and don't stand up on their own. This means that unless you are very careful to seal the cap completely after every use, you are going to have some spillage. Careful closure in the heat of the moment is not always that easy.
Kudos to KY for making a product appealing that in the past has seemed very clinical. The warming and cooling effects of the lubes are not too strong and are just right for enhancing those magical moments. Find a way to make the bottles stand up and you have yourself a real winner here. 4.5 stars.
Time for more testing...
(If are looking for an alternative lubricant that is unscented and doesn't heat or cool, then you can't go wrong with K-Y Personal Lubricant, Natural Feeling Liquid.)

Okay, so I am feeling the folks who liken this stuff [the purple hers] to some BenGay or IcyHot. I was pretty startled, thinking did this tube somehow get filled with battery acid instead of personal lubricant? I was burning deep inside with a strange and high intensity. I was almost ready to go wash the stuff off, but his did not seem to be giving him much of a sensation and I was curious as to what was going to happen when the two collided-- were we going to get fireworks or text bubbles over our heads... Alas, all the satisfaction I got was that now he was feeling the intense icy hot freezing heat and we could commiserate. There was a lot of discussion going on from trying to get into the package all the way up to what the *&^$ is this stuff, to well, what do you think, to do you think we have permanently damaged the goods? Anyhow, I was more impressed with the commercial :(

Updated July 13th, 2008: Ok... you can use this product with latex condoms, and they even suggest pouring some inside and out. I had to come back and explain further. On our second try we discovered many more things. THIS PRODUCT ROCKS!!!! It was very odd, but I felt a cold feeling deep inside. At times it felt so cold, that I couldn't tell it if was hot. It was amazing. We truly have put the Warming Astroglide aside for this stuff. Hubby loved it! For him when we come together, the feeling is amazing. Try it!!
So because of Amazon we actually had to come together for this one! LOL No pun intended!! This is a nice little product. The packaging is very nice, sleek/sexy looking black. Smaller than it appears in the pictures. There are two vials in there... blue for him, purple for her/me. I will give it to them for their presentation and their great commercials.
Now onto the dirty stuff... the product does work and feels very nice. It warmed up for him and it cooled for me. It is nice that a company actually took into consideration that we are different after all and accounted for that. Kudos KY! The lubricant was slightly gooey sticky at first, but clean up wasn't horrible. Not as easy as with my warming Astroglide, but right up there with it. I have gotten rather bored with the warming Astroglide... it just wasn't working on me anymore. It remained to be a wonderful lube, but that is it. I don't recommend that anyone ingest this stuff, same as the aformentioned. IT tastes horrible!! If you just touch something and then go there with your mouth... you will taste that horrible bitterness.
Again, we didn't personally taste this one... but it seems to be along the same lines. I love the smell... it was pepperminty. Some may hate it... but I am the type that loves cooling peppermint, wintergreen smells. Heck, I even like BEN GAY LOL!! So, the smell may not be for everyone, but I think it will feel rather nice for most. It is completely subjective on what will feel great for everyone. That isn't possible.
Would I recommend it.... HELL YEAH! It broke up the monotony in our lives LOL (that was a joke). I do see it seeing spicing things up for beginners that have sort of fallen into a rut. IT is interactive, he pours on you, you pour on his bits.... it can't get any better than that! Enjoy and thanks Amazon!! By the way.... this doesn't protect against STDs and I am not sure if it is ok for use with condoms.

its slippery enough but the tingle is over rated. for this price you can get a truck load of generic k-y which works just as well. save the white plastic piece that its packaged in because it doubles as a stand. otherwise this stuff will be all over the place when you lay the bottles on their side.

Me and my fiance decided to try this after seeing the commerical so many times, we went to wal-mart and they were sold out, so we drove to the walmart in the next town and they were sold out too. We where about to give up but there was a CVS and wal-greens right down the road. We went to Wal-greens first they were sold out, then we went to CVS, they didn't have any out so we thought we were fixing to go home empty handed, we asked the cashier as we were checking out about what we really wanted and they had some upstairs. They never got to unpack it because everyone kept comeing in and asking for it, they had two left and we bought both of them.
It was worth all the work to get it. This is by far the best lubricant we have ever used. when you combine the warm and cold sensations you get from this lube it is an awesome sensation. I highly recommend it, if you can get your hands on it. KY knew what they were doing when they did the commerical for it because people are buying it. we where even at Wal-mart the next day and an older couple was in the condom section looking for it too, and got disappointed because it was sold out. KY keep up the good work! We are two very satisfied customers!

Well, we tried this and had mixed results. I used the "his" and didn't mind the slightly warm sensation it created. But my partner, on the other hand, was shocked by the cool (or "icy hot" sensation as she called it) of the "hers" mixture. It bothered her to the point that she needed to wash it off right away. A turn off for the moment, to say the least. I think we'll stick with the plain old astroglide (or grapeseed oil) from now on.

My wife picked this up a while back out of curiousity. She says it gives a "tingly" feeling (other reviewers say icy/hot) and absolutely loves it. If it's not in bed or within reach when I come to bed, I get sent after it. She actually gets very excited just at the thought of it & acts like fireworks are going off when using it. Yeah... I'm good, but not that good - LOL!. No other lube has had an effect on her like this one. Her loving it so much says everything to me. I'll be buying it in bulk just to make sure we don't run out.
Much of the fun of having the two bottles is applying it to each other.
The concept of icy/hot makes sense to me since I've had great responses long before this product using an ice cube and a warm tongue (sorry if I'm being too graphic, but you are here looking at this product for a reason, right?). Temperature is another great sensation to ramp things up a little.
As for what I get from it... it just feels warm to me, which is definitely not a bad thing. Most of what I get out of it is her enjoying it. Also... it doesn't taste bad either (I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be eating it but it hasn't had me ill yet). Two thumbs up!

The hers felt horrible. i couldnt enjoy my partner because my snatch was on fire like i stuck a whole tube of icy hot up my canal! I threw away the hers but i kept the his. even though my husband didnt get much pleasure from the his "warming" lube I did enjoyed it alot. you better off just getting some warming lube its cheaper and feels better. if you like the fire crotch feel just use icy hot! it gets one star for the his lube.
