Great nutrition, has an odd aftertaste
This review is for both "Greens to Go" and "Go Greens" from To Go Brands.
It is difficult to tell from [...] descriptions, but these two are identical items. The supplement facts panel lists identical ingredients and identical nutritional values. The only difference is in name, box picture, and price. On the day I purchased these items, the Greens to Go were...

Tastes Good? What?
I purchased a box of this stuff from Sam's yesteryday. I was very excited to try this product because I hardly eat fruits and veggies. So I get home and mix it up, then.... The taste..... Now I am not going to say that the taste was not tolerable, but it by no means comes close to tasting good. I was in shock when I read the reviews on this site. I could not believe...

Great nutrition, has an odd aftertaste, April 8, 2008
This review is from: Greens to Go-Superfood Fruit and Veggie Mix, 24 Packs (Health and Beauty)
This review is for both "Greens to Go" and "Go Greens" from To Go Brands.
It is difficult to tell from [...] descriptions, but these two are identical items. The supplement facts panel lists identical ingredients and identical nutritional values. The only difference is in name, box picture, and price. On the day I purchased these items, the Greens to Go were $35.94 for 30 packets, or $1.20 each, and Go Greens were $19.95 for 24 packets, or $0.83 each.
My rating of 4 stars comes from two factors - the ingredients and nutrition, and the taste.
Five stars for a product with certified organic ingredients, great antioxidants, and no artificial flavors or colors. It is only 32 calories. Natural green looks better than food dyes to me. These packets are convenient to carry, and mix easily into a bottle of water.
Three stars for taste. The overall flavor seems OK to me, not great. But I don't like the after-taste that xylitol and stevia have. While they are both plant-based sweeteners, they taste artificial to me. And the taste remains in my mouth for some time. I mix it with a smaller quantity of water and drink it in a few gulps, then have something else to eat. I would prefer to have sugar as the sweetener, and the added calories. I was hoping for a product that I could mix into smoothies for my children that they wouldn't notice. This is too strong a flavor to disguise.

Pretty good product!, February 17, 2008
This review is from: Greens to Go-Superfood Fruit and Veggie Mix, 24 Packs (Health and Beauty)
I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrom and this product seems to of helped me feel a little better actaully!
It's easy to use at home or on the go since it comes in serving size packages and although it's slightly odd tasting, it's definitely not bad. It tastes a little like fresh mowed grass and apples! LOL!
I'd definitely recommend this product!

Veggie Hater Loves this product, December 4, 2009
This review is from: Greens to Go-Superfood Fruit and Veggie Mix, 24 Packs (Health and Beauty)
I don't like to eat cooked vegetables so I tried this product to ensure I get my vegetable intake. And I am now drinking two bottles of this mix every day. In addition to providing the nutrition I miss by not eating vegetables, the drink has helped to clear my skin and make it more healthy. It also keeps me sharp and clear headed all morning. I highly recommend this great tasting drink to anyone who doesn't eat their vegetables like they should every day...

Go Greens is Fabulous, July 23, 2009
I think Go Greens is an excellent product. The taste is good and the health benefits are even better. I try to eat a very healthy diet and it's still hard to get in all the servings of fruits and vegetables I need. Go Greens really helps. It's also excellent for maintaining my blood sugar level. I can drink this in the mid-afternoon and keep from crashing. Love it.

anti oxidents, June 16, 2008
This review is from: Greens to Go-Superfood Fruit and Veggie Mix, 24 Packs (Health and Beauty)
GoGreens apparently makes several products, the one I have used is the "anti-oxident blend". It is green, and does taste unusual but not bad. As it says on the label it is sort of apple/melon and if you try you may be able to find the cinnamon. Its sweetness is fruitlike, not sugary so if you're looking for a high calorie "sport" drink this is not it. I have found it to be powerful as an anti-oxident, reducing cold symptoms, getting over the tired hump at work, and clearing my thinking like I wanted the double espresso to do. Hint- it tastes better in 8-10 oz of water than over diluted. I went through a box of 30 in 2 weeks.

great way to get greens, February 19, 2008
This review is from: Greens to Go-Superfood Fruit and Veggie Mix, 24 Packs (Health and Beauty)
This is very tasty for a 'health' product. I enjoy it in ice water. It doesn't have to be used full strength and could be put in a juice if the flavor is not to your liking. It has a fresh apple and melon taste. It sure beats high calorie juices when you want something other than a glass of water.

Greens to go great addition to healthy diet, March 23, 2009
This was a great tasting addition to my every day diet. Great especially for those days when I know I'm just not getting my veggies in. A little gritty, but over all tastes like sweet apple and melon.

Great tasting with great ingredients, January 26, 2009
This review is from: Greens to Go-Superfood Fruit and Veggie Mix, 24 Packs (Health and Beauty)
I have been impressed with this product and will purchase more when I run out of my 24 pack box. I don't understand why so many say it tastes awful (and I'm a very picky eater). It has an apple/melon taste and when you consider all of the fruits, vegetables, and other nutrients you are swallowing all at once it is much better than I thought it would be. I am just starting my second trimester of pregnancy and am taking it to supplement my pregnancy diet. I decided to wait until I was out of the 1st tri to use since this product contains green tea which is rumored to impair absorption of folic acid, but now feel that it is very beneficial. Also, I am still plagued with low energy and morning sickness and this product is very tolerable to drink and helps with some necessary energy. I am impressed with its nutritional content, which is contained on the Greens to Go website if you are interested. I truly hope this product is around for years to come.
