Love, love. love this bag!!!!
Every girl needs a nice, black bag and this is it! I usually do not like big purses, but I have truly fell in love with this one! Very reasonably priced but it looks like it costs a million bucks! Made nicely and of good quality!

Does smell funny, love the look of it
I got this bag in black for Christmas and I agree, it does have a weird smell to it. It does not stink up my car (that I can tell) and I don't even notice the smell when carrying the bag, only when my face is looking down in it for something at the very bottom (it is such a big thing!). I got this bag in black for Christmas and I agree, it does have a weird smell to it. It does not stink up my car (that I can tell) and I don't even notice the smell when carrying the bag, only when my face is looking down in it for something at the very bottom (it is such a big thing!). My bag does not look as "filled out" as it does in the picture, but I don't keep my bag full of a lot of big things such as clothes or books. I do find it annoying to get into sometimes as you literally have to pull back the notch that tightens the top of the bag and mine sometimes is a little feisty, but that will probably loosen up with time.
Bottom line:
Would I purchase this bag again (it was a gift)? May be. I do like the look of it and have carried it every day since I got it (I have not had any compliments on the bag), but I am not so crazy about the "wrinkled" design that is actually in the material (it is not a smooth black material)and the smell is pretty bad when up close.

Great bag...but..., October 26, 2007
This is a great bag! I do like it very much, I don't think it has a smell, and the bag does look great and I love the handle. BUT, if you are trying to get into your purse quickly, you're out of luck, because it takes forever to get into this bag and the straps keep getting stuck! Good bag, but a pain!

Okay, I admit it....I am a purse-aholic. This is one of the most beautiful bags I have ever owned. The price is nice. The bag is everything I expected it to be, except for one thing. This was a good thing. I read the reviews about "the smell" and I was a little bit afraid. But, I am happy to say that I smell NOTHING. I have a lot of compliments on the bag and love it. The purse by itself IS a heavy bag but you can carry so much stuff in it that it makes it worth while. I would agree that the handle would be nice if it were just a little tiny bit longer but, it is long enough to be useful as is. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. What more can I say?

This bag is absolutely amazing, the best one I've purchased in a loooong time. It's big enough to hold everything I need, no funny smell, lots of compliments. I plan on purchasing another one in a different color(got brown first). Highly recommended!!!!!

Very large bag, but........., August 24, 2008
I didn't notice any disagreeable smell as others have described. This is a very large bag, I love how much it holds but it does have a couple of serious flaws. First, the shoulder strap/handle is just to short of carrying on my shoulder.. If the bag is even moderately full it becomes very uncomfortable. Just a few more inches of handle would of made a world of difference.
The second big problem is the outside pockets. You can not easily open and close them. Each pocket closes with a leather strap that you need to feed through metal buckles. Very difficult to do with one hand and slooooow. The whole idea of outside pockets is to be able to quickly get to those things you need often (keys, phone, sunglasses) no way you will do that with these pockets.
pretty bag, very roomy, but highly dysfunctional.

My new brown bag, February 7, 2008
So I love a good purse, especially one that can hold everything. I am a mom of 2 so this purse is great for bottle bags, wipes, and diapers on top of my normal load (make up bag, planner, digital camera, cell phones, etc.)There was a slight distinct odor when i first got it but nothing not normal to new leather. I have it in brown. I have had a problem with the zippers. The large center one has been off the track a couple of times and the outside back zipper keeps losing it's pull tab and getting fabric caught in it. I have been able to fix everything so far. I have had this for a month now and the straps are wearing and are hard to open and close. It sucks they are worn looking already and thet will probably be the first ugly thing to happen to the purse. As crazy as it sounds, I have just ordered it in black. I love the purse overall and have decided to pick and choose my battles with it.

Big Brown Bag, July 30, 2009
Despite this handbag being one day late, it owned up to its reputation. This bag is great for new mothers, (i.e. diaper bag), working moms/women, or any woman on the go. The only two drawbacks are that the strap should be adjustable,(ideally slightly longer), and that the additional pockets on the front and on the side should have snaps for easy access. Other than that, I was pretty pleased. Being a mom of elementary age children, I do not need this bag for everyday use, but it is great to use on trips.

I also am a purseaholic...and am always looking for the perfect purse for every day use. I just received the purse today and I FINALLY just found it. I am very picky and this meets all my needs. I love the construction and organization. I know the leather will soften with age and use. I got it in black and it is just perfect. No smell....not overly heavy,,,and of course that depends on what you fill it with. The handle is short...but it fits on my shoulder fine, as the top of the bag is soft,,,it squishes down fine to fit on your shoulder...and I am a large gal....and it looks great....great price for the money!!! I was always a COACH gal...no more...for the money on their bags...I never found a user friendly everyday bag.....Thanks Purse Boutique!!!

Gorgeous, but..., February 5, 2009
This bag is beautiful and actually smells like expensive leather. If that's the smell reviewers are talking about, I can handle it! The handbag is very spacious and can hold a lot. However, I must agree with the reviewers that complained about the handle; it is a bit too small and hurts when it sits on my shoulder. If the co. spent a bit more on creating a more sturdy and longer handle it would be perfect. I'm keeping the bag and will carry it on my arm.
