Good camera for the price
I purchased this camera as an alternative for disposable 35mm underwater cameras for vacation pictures. For the price, I would recommend it.
Camera: The camera, without its underwater case, is very tiny. I've taken 185 pictures, some underwater and some regular, and only about 15 were disappointing. Pictures will be blurry if the camera is not held still...
Limitied Use Digital
I used this camera on a trip to Hawai'i. It's good for relatively close underwater shots if you don't move too quickly while shooting the shot. I got a bunch of pictures that were distorted before I figured that out. As far as the camera itself, it's not very good for anything beyond the limited use underwater. The rsolution doesn't seem to be 5M, I even switched it to...

Pictures will be blurry if the camera is not held still. Since it was inexpensive I did not expect it to be as good as my regular digital camera, so I'm ok with the proportion of good pictures.
Underwater Casing: The underwater casing is nice and sturdy. I don't know how it is different than the more expensive models which are sold separately for other cameras. I snorkeled for several hours on three different occasions and the casing did not leak. It is easy to get the camera into and out of the case. The buttons all functioned nicely.
Battery Life: I used rechargeable AAA NiMH and they lasted for each of my days of picture taking.
Note: some websites list this same camera as having a 3x optical zoom, but there is no optical zoom on this camera.
Summary: I would say the camera and underwater housing are definitely worth the price. I couldn't find many other digital underwater cameras in this price range with the similar features. I'm not sure why this one is so inexpensive, except for the lack of brand name recognition.

I bought this camera because I'd always wanted an underwater camera to take snorkeling, but didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars. When I found this one for $90, I jumped on it. I tried it out on land, and was pretty happy with the photos. Easy to use, etc. The waterproof housing being included for no cost is a nice bonus to what was already a good deal. I popped the camera into the housing, and spent an hour or so taking photos of some kids swimming around in the pool to see how it worked. I was basically shooting pics as fast as I could (no film, no cost) and really every one of the photos came out great. No leakage at all. I did buy a memory card for it for about $10 also. The built in memory is good for a few photos, but you'll want the extra storage for sure. Batteries have lasted several hours so far. I use a Macitosh computer and didn't have any trouble transferring the pictures to it. For a good cheap camera to take underwater photos, I think it will be hard to beat this one. The small size of the camera alone allows it to easily fit into your shirt pocket too.

Just used this extensively snorkling in Hawaii. Not perfect, but ended up with some great results. I shopped around a lot, and I think this is probably the best-working underwater digital solution for under $100.
Pros -
-Housing is the best thing about it - great quality, very well-made and easy to use, no hint of leakage during multiple uses.
-Camera floats while in housing
-Under ideal conditions (Sunny Weather, clear water, used near the surface) the image results can be superb for such a cheap camera
-Considering most of the cost is probably in the housing, it does better than expected as a general purpose cheap land camera
Cons -
- Flash is useless in housing. Need expensive off-camera flash for good results in less than ideal conditions (without direct sunlight, or at any significant depth)
- Shutter delay is substantial and can be tricky to use - you have to lead moving subjects a little which takes practice
Overall a bargain and would definitely recommend for casual underwater use in good lighting.

My expectations were not that high based on the price and feature set of this little camera. I must say that I was quite surprised at how well it worked. The underwater housing is very strong and high quality. The camera itself takes very good quality pictures for the tiny lens that it uses. Like most underwater cameras if the visibility is not that great you want to avoid using the flash. Luckily it is off by default when you turn the camera on.
I did find that the flash was a little strong when using the camera on land. Putting a small square of wax paper over the flash inside the housing diffused it perfectly and it works great.

I use this camera at the beach and while fishing from a kayak. It does everything it should for a <$100 camera. The pictures and video turned out very good. I had it in the water several times and had no problems with the waterproof case. An added bonus is that it floats, so you don't have to worry about losing it in the water. It uses AAA batteries so keep some spares handy. I went through 3 pair in a week of daily use on vacation. My computer recognized it even without using the supplied driver disk. For an inexpensive waterproof camera, Intova INWD-IC500 is hard to beat.

I got a bunch of pictures that were distorted before I figured that out. As far as the camera itself, it's not very good for anything beyond the limited use underwater. The rsolution doesn't seem to be 5M, I even switched it to 10M, but that just made it more difficult to use. At the higher reslution setting the camera couldn't set the exposure correctly and I got a bunch of near black pictures. At about $100 it's not a bad deal, but don't expect too much.

This camera is a great buy for the price that I paid. I was looking for a camera that I could take diving on a recent trip to cancun and it exceeded my expectations.
This is not a professional camera and for the price people should not think that it is. Like other reviews have said the flash is the real downside of this camera when diving. I dove in some underground caves and it was not as powerful as some of the other cameras that were down there. But again for the price I loved it. I took the camera down to 95 feet and there was no leaks and the pics at that depth turned out pretty good.
If you are looking for a bang for your buck camera this is it for sure.

I had no clue what kind of camera to purchase when I first started scuba diving. The professionals try and sell the $1,000 cameras to everyone. I decided to take a chance and see how this camera preformed.
The camera takes pretty nice pictures. I have uploaded several for others to see. Underwater videos include the ability for users to listen to the oceans sounds as well as the operators regulator. Almost all camera options can be accessed through the housing while underwater. The diver must choose distance or closeup before closing the housing and diving. The camera does not have the ability to change the date/time, so all pictures are time stamped starting in January 2000.
I have used the camera on three windows computers and one linux computer without any need of loading drivers or using any of the CDs that came with the camera.

I bought this camera to take some pictures while snorkeling in Panama. It worked pretty good. Some pictures turned out perfect, others didn't. It's about what I expected for the price, and is definitely worth the price.
