I actually got this wand free with a combo kit including the bigger Verilux wand. The other one works great, but this one even isn't worth it for free. I'm assuming it sterilizes O.K. but seems much dimmer than its big brother, but here is the problem, it will fully discharge a set of batteries in just a few days. I installed a NEW set of alkaline AA batteries and used...

I actually got this wand free with a combo kit including the bigger Verilux wand. The other one works great, but this one even isn't worth it for free. I'm assuming it sterilizes O.K. but seems much dimmer than its big brother, but here is the problem, it will fully discharge a set of batteries in just a few days. I installed a NEW set of alkaline AA batteries and used this device for maybe 10 minutes total. I set it aside and in three days picked it up and the battery was almost completely dead. I thought maybe I left it on by mistake so installed 4 new batteries and again it was completely dead in 3 days.

If you buy this prepare to remove the batteries after EVERY time you use it. If you have a choice, don't buy this. Ge the bigger one, or another brand, but not this one. You will be sorry.

It takes some time to do the job. You cannot check how efficient it working. Well done to prevent accidental eye burnning.
