Very cute
My almost 3 yo LOVES dogs. While in the store one day he grabbed this off the shelf and there was no way it was not coming home with us. I was not impressed until I realized it was on try me and not the on position. So we switched it on and it was to cute. Both my 2yo and 4 yo love him. The 2 yo walks around with him and tells it "good boy" and shows him stuff and talks...

Not Really Appealing
Bought this for my g'daughter's 4th birthday but sent it back immediately. The machinery that makes the dog roll over is very hard and young kids cannot really cuddle up with this one. The dog isn't very appealing or cute.
Great idea, but it needs work.

Bought this for my g'daughter's 4th birthday but sent it back immediately. The machinery that makes the dog roll over is very hard and young kids cannot really cuddle up with this one. The dog isn't very appealing or cute.
Great idea, but it needs work.

My almost 3 yo LOVES dogs. While in the store one day he grabbed this off the shelf and there was no way it was not coming home with us. I was not impressed until I realized it was on try me and not the on position. So we switched it on and it was to cute. Both my 2yo and 4 yo love him. The 2 yo walks around with him and tells it "good boy" and shows him stuff and talks to him just like he would a real dog. Yes the stuff inside is hard and he is not a cuddly animal but my kids still snuggle him. All in all it is a great toy.

Tumbles is not a completely crappy toy. It's just not completely awesome. It's mechanisms are loud and clumsy and it's rather stiff and hard. But it's better than cleaning up after a real dog and my 3-year-old likes to see it sleeping at the end of her bed. If you can get if for around [...], it's not bad. But the full-price value makes this one a hard sell. Literally. Cause you can't really cuddle with it. Get it?

As far as I am concerned, this is the cutest toy ever. Tumbles moves and cuddles up so much like a real puppy that other real dogs in the house are in awe of him. The kids love him too. It is also now mid February and he has used up one set of batteries and with replacements, he is still going strong as he was Christmas. Cute as "pie". Buy him.

My nine year old daughter received this for a birthday present. Within less than two hours of owning it a large rip developed in Tumbles threadbare fur. It's mechainical whirring is very loud. We have yet to hear it "snore". It is not very cute, and slightly reminds one of roadkill in apperance and action. The worst part was as soon as I put away the needle and thread, from repairing the hole, I found another slightly smaller rip along his spine.

The toy works as promised. It squirmes and tumbles. I would recommend for the price range though to buy Lucky the wonder Pup in stores at the price of $35. Lucky understands and responds to 15 different verbal commands. Tumbles just tumbles for the same price. My daughter was given tumbles and Lucky from different grandparents. Lucky is played with all the time. Tumbles is still under the Christmas tree after a couple of tricks.

This was a Christmas gift for my 3 year old son. He likes it a lot, but his 12 month old baby sister absolutely adores it. She loves to pet it and watch it roll over. She likes that it reacts to her when she touches it. I think the little animations and noises it does are absolutely adorable, especially when it's "sleeping." A really neat little toy.

My brother give Tumbles as a gift to my daughter and she loves it. She plays with it all the time. I think that it is fun for kids, but it doesn't really move. It rolls over onces and that all, but my daughter thinks that it's the best thing since she got her Squarkers.

My daughter received this for her five yr. bday. She takes it everywhere and insists that we treat her pet like a family member. No kidding, everywhere she takes this pet, it steals the show. The cutest thing is that we had to buy a little dog house for it and when she lays it down before she goes to bed it starts to snore and goes to sleep. It gives a lot of pleasure for a very reasonable price!

I was *forced* into buying this for my 6yr old daughter after she would not leave the store without it. i was not impressed at all!! She got it for Christmas this year and it is already broke and dosen't work. It never rolled over like it said it should anf the store would not let us return it. It is clunky and hard and not very cuddly. She still drags it around but it is more like a stuffed animal, a very expensive one at that.. Would not recomend it to anyone, you are better off getting the FurReal pets
