I am on my second unit of this TV, after having to ship it back to Westinghouse at my own expense (after taking it to their "authorized repair shop" 75 miles from my house). The DVD player works intermittently, regardless of the age or condition of the disc. The TV freezes when changing channels or volume to the point that you must UNPLUG the TV to be able to turn it...

Westinghouse customer service is worthless. They will not work with you at all. Consequently, I will never buy another Westinghouse product.
Do not buy this TV!

For the price we could not pass up this product. After hanging 1rst one on wall we got a constant buzz thru the tv speakers even with volume at zero and speakers turned off. We returned for a 2nd set and still have the exact problem. Recommend spending a little more and getting a better quality product.

Like a lot of people I've been reading about, I started having problems with my Westinghouse LCD television only a few months after purchasing it. Unfortunately, my problems are sporadic and, not noticing them when viewing cable television, I assumed that this problem was caused by the other input source I used on it (a video game console). I had that unit serviced twice, and by the time I realized that the problem was with the television and not the input source, the unit was out of warranty by about 3 months. Despite having documentation to show that my problems began only a few months after buying their product, their customer disservice department basically told me I was up poop creek. I guess it was crazy of me to expect a $600 television to work properly for a whole year and a half. Thanks for nothing, Westinghouse! Next time, I'll go with Toshiba or Samsung, and I would encourage anyone else to do the same.
Pros
Lots of inputs, is still semi-functional a whole 15 months after purchase.
Cons
Discolored static on areas of uniform color (esp. white and red), framerate drops (bad for gaming), customer service is unresponsive and will allegedly make you pay out of your own pocket for any service they grudgingly provide, other customers have reported sets going dead entirely.

I bought this at Target, a substitute for an advertised item, for $529. After some drama with our cable company, it is working splendidly. great picture, good sound, no problems. I got it just before the baseball playoffs and have had the pleasure of watching my Tampa Bay Rays get into the World Series. My first LCD TV was a good choice and a great deal.

I bought this through SHOP NBC...got the extended warranty with it. It has worked fine except that it tends to "lean" toward the front some, causing it to almost tip over several times.This morning it tipped all the way and hit my cedar chest in my bedroom...of course busting the screen beyond repair.I called both Shop NBC & westinghouse and was given lame excuses of why they would not cover it...even explaining the "tipping" issue associated with the TV itself. I guess that I should have bolted it against the wall.So,I'm out almost 700.00..just bought it on 3/3/09.

I love the front loading DVD player. It's good for wall mounting. TV has great viewing and color. I would recommend this tv to everyone, it's a great deal.

I purchased this tv 45 days ago. When I recieved the TV, the base/stand was missing, and called customer service. They were friendly and said they would ship it - I still don't have it. Yesterday, I tried to eject a DVD and it is stuck in the drive and I can't get it out - google this, it is apparently common. I've called customer service four times now, and the automated prompts let me wait a couple minutes, then hang up on me telling me "that voicemail box is full". Don't buy this TV!
