My dogs love it!
I have two rescued greyhounds who have become very attached to their Coolaroo beds. When one of the beds failed after a number of years, I had to find a replacement cover. The price and service were better than expected.

Coolaroo Dog Bed Replacement Cover
I have always liked these beds, but the covers do not last very long. I bought
replacements for two beds used by an Older Lab and Shepherd. These dogs only sleep
on them and they are in a heated kennel. Both covers developed small holes that
became large holes that made the bed worthless. These could be from toe nails.
These dogs are not chewers...

I have always liked these beds, but the covers do not last very long. I bought
replacements for two beds used by an Older Lab and Shepherd. These dogs only sleep
on them and they are in a heated kennel. Both covers developed small holes that
became large holes that made the bed worthless. These could be from toe nails.
These dogs are not chewers and did not mistreat the covers. The Little Tag in the
Corner "Coolaroo for Life" does not even mean for doggie life years. The
Company guarantees these covers only against Sunlight damage. (How useful is that).
Dog wear is on you. I am sorry that a large International Company cannot make a
Stronger Longer Lasting Cover. And the Slogan "For Life" sewn on every cover is
only misleading.

This is the perfect bed for my 80lb lab. He is super comfy on it. I have to replace the cover about every other month because of tears. Maybe if it were dbl or triple ply it would be more sturdy.

i love this bed but it is not very durable for dogs that like to paw and scratch at the ground before they lay down. i set this bed up for my doberman before i left for work and when i came home after work he was sitting in a huge hole in the middle of the bed on the floor.

excellent for an outdoor bed, October 6, 2008
Our two dogs love this bed. I was thrilled when I discovered I could order a replacement cover after a hole developed (after 2 years) in the original. We now have two beds - one on the deck and one next to the gate in the yard where our most anxious dog lies waiting to be let in. The beds are cool in summer and in winter a washable blanket on top adds warmth. Reasonably priced, easy to clean and very durable - a great product.

GREAT dog bed, February 6, 2009
My dog loves this bed! You might want to cut off the coolaroo tag in the corner because it is tempting to chew on for the dogs. This is a great dog bed. I bought one for my father and his dogs love it too.

Rugged, but rough, January 24, 2009
Love these beds. We put a boot tray under ours. Dog loves the bed, I love how much dander/dirt collects in the tray. This is third cover for single frame. Only wish the covers were a little less rough on the dog joints - perhaps a treated canvas instead of current material?

It is the right price, so why would I pass up the extra cover? I do not expect it to last five years, especially if it is outside all of the time! Hammocks don't, so why would this?
