Good Insurance
These are good insurance againist damage to the LCD. Note that the picture at the time of this reveiw is not the LCD cover described or the camera it was meant to fit. The cover has three tabs (2 side, 1 bottom)to fit the flipscreen A300/350. The product fits well and snug and not at all fragile. It doesn't interfer with veiwing the LCD. My only grip is that it does crowd...
Invaluable... if it would stay on!
This is a fantastic product and has certainly helped to protect the camera's screen, but we find that if it is bumped or knocked a little (particularly when getting the camera out of its case/bag) it comes off. Despite this it is definitely worth purchasing.

For anyone that has a A300 or a A350 like i do, you need this item. It doesn't sound like much, but, i got to see first hand at a car show how handy these screen covers are.
I saw a guy sweating all over his screen, and ever since then i knew i would need one to protect the screen. Now that i got the A350, it is a welcome addition

I'm really sorry I bought this item. For a little piece of plastic the price is outrageous given that it does not give a real clear view and, worst of all,it has a tendency to fall off and and be easily lost (mine lasted 2 weeks but I didn't like it much anyway).It sticks out too far from the camera, which leads to an easy fall off if you put your camera in a tight fitting bag. Since, unlike the Canon powershot S3 which I bought previously,the Sony DLSR's have the screen exposed at all times, consequently it would appear necessary to have a screen protector. In the past more film like clear protectors have served me well and are half the price or less. This item, if it fit better, might have the advantage of lasting longer, but it doesn't stay on, and if I were
you I'd definitely buy something else. This item, as is, is a rip off!

I almost did not buy this product because of all the bad reviews saying that it falls off easy. The one that I just received either has been re-engineered, or the other people may be putting it on upside down. I clipped it on, and then went to take it off to clean the LCD. I almost had to pry it with a screwdriver to get it off. The cover here in the picture is NOT the one you will receive. The cover for the a350 has a tab on each of the sides and the bottom. Not top and bottom as the picture shows. This is because of the tilt screen. It came with easy to follow directions. At 11 or 12 bucks, it's cheaper to replace the cover then the LCD. This is a must have.

This is a must have for your LCD screen, as it protects the screen from scratches and dents.....I used this for my DSLR350 which got a "tilting LCD" and while i was in NC state fair taking pics this cover got unsnapped and fell down....i realised that only after 5minutes of walking...but luckily my wife was able to spot it on the floor.
I wish they designed some sturdy locks or snaps for this cover so that we dont loose it !

Previously used a film protector, but this one provides much better protection for my A300 LCD with easy installation. Little worried about the cover thickness since the LCD of A300/A350 is more salient than other DSLRs, but I don't really feel any difference when I am taking the picture with this cover on. The transparency of cover is also okay. You might want to increase LCD brightness little bit. Definitely, recommend this to A300/A350 users!

The cover was great, but randomly broke. The tab that held it on the side broke off in the bag. This is to be expected with small plastic pieces. A little pricey.

Good way to protect your LCD from damage. Fits perfectly (as it should), and works well with the tilt LCD screen. I take a star because I think protective items like this should come with the camera. I love the camera, but why nickle and dime your customers Sony? In any case, this is a low-cost way to add some protection to your investment.
