Love!, July 24, 2008
My Mikado pouch came in the mail today, and I've already had the satisfaction of using one while out shopping. My mom and I discovered Envirosax at a cute store in Montreal recently and were both impressed at how fantastic they are. After trying the one she bought for a few weeks, I knew I had to stock up for myself. They're super lightweight and really easy to roll up into a little sushi-sized bundle that's held shut by attached straps with snaps-- great because then you're not fussing with some separate pouch like with so many similar reusable bags. We both own many other bags, canvas and mesh and nylon, that too often get left behind in the car or at home. Envirosax are small and light enough that I will always keep one in my purse. And they're so cute and cheery, too!
Note: unlike the Flora line, which are printed on one side and a solid color on the other, the Mikado designs have prints on both sides. Go figure.
Update 8/14/08: It still makes me happy every time I whip out one of my pretty Envirosax at the market or at the mall. Functional and uplifting-- what more could you ask for?

Great size, great patterns (very chic) -- and they are washable! I put mine through the washing machine (on cold); hang to dry.

I REALLY like these bags! So easy to tuck in a pocket or purse so I actually have them when I need them! They hold A LOT and fit over your shoulder easily. Also - they are very easy to roll back up and snap when empty so they are ready to go for the next time.

Beautiful and useful bags that are ready to hit the beach or grocery store!, May 24, 2010
I own several different types of reusable bags though until now I almost NEVER remembered to bring them with me to the store! I love these bags so much I actually look forward to using them! When folks say they fold down to about the size of a roll of sushi they aren't kidding. They are really light weight and hold a surprising amount of stuff! (See my pictures of one of the Mikado bags holding 5 full sized 2 liter bottles.) The carrying case is convenient for large shopping trips while each individual bag is small enough to allow me to carry a few at the bottom of my purse. I can't tell you how many times I've kicked myself for forgetting to bring my own shopping bags to the store. Since I received these I haven't missed an opportunity to use them. We live in a beach community and these will be perfect for toting all our beach gear this summer!
While they are expensive, in my case that factor combined with the attractiveness of the designs is likely what encourages me to remember to use them! They are strong, pretty, light weight and washable. They would make a great gift idea, especially as a bridal shower gift or as part of a wedding gift. In fact, these are so pretty they would be ideal to wrap a gift in for presentation. I love them!

I'm very happy with my purchase of the Mikado envirosax. Their easy to use and if your just running in for a quick trip you can throw one right in your purse. They hold about two plastic bags worth of stuff. In fact in one of the bags I had 4 pairs of men's jeans (for my hubby) and there was still a little bit of room left. I love these bags and feel better knowing that I'm using them instead of the plastic bags at the store.

Great bags, perfect size!, July 1, 2010
I've used other reusable bags in the past, but after purchasing the Envirosax bags I'll never switch to another! The bags are small enough to keep in my purse so I always have one handy for an unplanned trip to the store. They fold up small, but once open can hold more items than plastic shopping bags - and best of all you don't have to worry about plastic handles breaking. With my Envirosax bag in my purse I never leave home without one!

I received my first 5-pak of Envirosax for Christmas, 2009. I was at first leery of the fact that I would have to fold them and put them back in their carrying sack and thought it might be a pain, but I quickly got over this as soon as I saw how wonderfully convenient these sax are. I carry them in the car, all neat and tidy, take the whole 5-pak into the grocery store, load up, bring them home then EASILY fold the individual sax up to replace them in their carrying bag. I have since purchased the 5-pak as a gift and will continue to do so. Plus, they are beautiful and I have been stopped more than once by women (mostly, so far) asking where I got them and how do I like them etc.

Had originally bought one of these in a boutique a few years ago before they got big and have been using it and realized I needed more so bought this group... Love the new patterns and the functionality is great... Wide straps for carrying over the shoulder without digging in and durable and washable, what more could a women want???!!! Carrying case keeps them grouped together in my back seat for easy access.

I own both the Floral and Mikado designs, and absolutely love these bags! I leave one or two in my purse, they fold up so small! I would highly recommend them, I have had mine for about a year now and use them all the time with little wear and tear. Very sturdy and nicely constructed, I can't believe the stuff you can stuff into them! I also love that the straps are a little longer, so you can easily put them over your shoulder and get keys . . . your hands are free!
I love using these bags everywhere, from Home Depot to the mall to the grocery store to household items . . . files workout clothes, the list goes on! Again, I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend these! Great way to stifle the 1 million plus plastic bags that are used every day . . . I get comments on them all the time, and it's exciting to share them with friends! Everyone that sees them loves them!
