Reebok SpeedPak rocks!
The Reebok SpeedPak works just as advertised. The lightest weight on each dumbbell is 2.5 lb; it then increases by 2.5 lb increments until you get to 12.5 lb on each dumbbell. They are easy to change out and seem durable enough for my use. I sometimes wish I had levels between (1-2 lb increments) - but these work great for what they are. I recommend them if you are...

Very dangerous..
This product is very dangerous. Mine broke off while I was using it and destroyed my wooden floor. It could have been worse. It could have hit someone. The plastic which connects the weights to the strut is unable to sustain the torque associated with lifting it in a normal curling motion -- which is indeed how dumbbells are supposed to be used. Buy it at your own...

Very dangerous.., September 5, 2009
This review is from: Reebok Speed Pac 25 Adjustable Dumbbell Pair (Sports)
This product is very dangerous. Mine broke off while I was using it and destroyed my wooden floor. It could have been worse. It could have hit someone. The plastic which connects the weights to the strut is unable to sustain the torque associated with lifting it in a normal curling motion -- which is indeed how dumbbells are supposed to be used. Buy it at your own risk, the risk of your furniture and household fixtures, and the risk of your loved ones. Be very careful with this product. I returned mine and bought something else.

not exactly what i thought..., April 9, 2009
This review is from: Reebok Speed Pac 25 Adjustable Dumbbell Pair (Sports)
i thought i was getting a 25# (each) pair. not that the two would equal 25#. the product works well, a little weird to get back into the holder but once its in, its easy to adjust the weight.

Description misleading, February 1, 2010
This review is from: Reebok Speed Pac 25 Adjustable Dumbbell Pair (Sports)
The description of these weights is misleading. The description leads you to believe that you are getting 2-25lb weights that are adjustable up to 25lbs. However, each dumbbell only goes up to 12.5 lbs for a TOTAL (with both dumbbells) of 25lbs. Therefore, each arm is lifting 12.5 lbs. This is misleading.

Quality Product for those who don't need much weight, October 7, 2009
This review is from: Reebok Speed Pac 25 Adjustable Dumbbell Pair (Sports)
My girlfriend has been using the Reebok adjustables for about 2 months now. She still loves them as they serve their purpose:
1) Quick adjustments to select desired weight
2) The plates lock in nicely and have NEVER failed or dropped while in use.
3) Comes with nice holder case that allows you to identify the amount of weight you would like to use. The case also secures the dumbbells and allows you to easily place the weights back in storage room or closet when not in use.
The only downfall is you max out at 12.5lbs for each dumbbell. But, plenty enough for most woman who are just toning.

Very Practicle & Cheap What You Get, August 16, 2009
This review is from: Reebok Speed Pac 25 Adjustable Dumbbell Pair (Sports)
I bought mine from Target after looking at the ridiculous price of Targets' individual weights: $10-20/each! I wasn't sure if I was going to keep them but decided to buy them and give them a try: $70 is a lot to me. NOW I LOVE THEM!!!
PROS: cheaper than individual weights, takes up no space at all, don't need a special stand for them
CONS: Umm... not as cute looking and doesn't have colors :P

Reasonable easy to take off and put on the weight bars. Use them when my personal trainer comes every week and in-between to follow-up.

DANGEROUS! DO NOT BUY!!!, June 13, 2010
This review is from: Reebok Speed Pac 25 Adjustable Dumbbell Pair (Sports)
After using for 8 months I was doing flys while laying back on my bench. I lifted them over head and one of the pacs completely fell apart and the weights fell off, one of them hitting me on my cheek bone. I now have a black and blue face. These should be taken off the market ASAP. For those of you who think you love them, please beware. I thought I loved them, too. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Reebok will not even acknowledge that they are their product even though their name is ON the product. The say it's a Weider product. Weider claims it's not their product either! Unbelievable.
