I have been gardening for years and never had a good pair of shoes ideal for gardening. I searched online for gardening shoes and discovered the Bogs Men's Valley Walker Slip On. I have been using them now for a couple of months and they perfect for gardening. They are made of heavy duty rubber with sturdy grips on the sole. The flexible material around the top helps keep dirt out of the shoe. They are easy to wash with a hose. And, importantly, they are so comfortable that I can slip them on and wear them all day long.

No pruney feet!, April 6, 2008
I bought these shoes for a spring trip to rainy and snowy London and Alsace. When they arrived I feared that my feet would suffer from being encased in rubber for hours of walking--I generally wear sandals in NoCal. To my profound relief and great satisfaction, the shoes are super comfortable, utterly waterproof, warm, and, if not exactly handsome, far from hideous. And I wore them for long walks along the Thames, through Regents Park, up to the heights of Ribeauvillé, and for long walks in Paris too. Recommended without reservations.

Dad loves his "bog boots", January 5, 2008
I bought a pair of these on close-out at a garden center, and my dad wore them so much, he was asking me a year or two later to find him another pair. Amazon came through. This style is good because Dad can walk the wet lawn in them yet they're lightweight and breathable.

My favorite shoes for around the house, August 21, 2009
I've been wearing the Bogs Men's Valley Walker (a slip on shoe) for several years. They are my favorite shoes because they are extremely comfortable and are waterproof. I live in the Seattle area where it rains a lot and these waterproof shoes are perfect for doing outdoor activities including walking my dog. I will be buying my fourth pair in a few months...Yes, the sole does eventually wear down but it takes a long time. I highly recommend these shoes.

Quality product, July 9, 2010
Very stable, very dry, and a quality product. I wear a 15 and they seem to run exactly to size or a hair small. I wish i would have ordered a 16 because they are snug with the winter socks on. I would absolutely purchase another Bogs product and I am looking into the higher boot for hunting.

Solid, very well made & comfortable. I've been using these for about 3 months now for walking my dogs and gardening. I have never had a better all-weather shoe. The very best thing about them that I didn't know, until after I received them, is that you can slip your foot right into them without having to bend down and use your fingers. A BIG plus when you have 3 dogs waiting for you to take them out! I'll buy another pair when these wear out.

I bought these shoes for my son-in-law and he absolutely LOVES them! I have now ordered a pair for my husband and a friend's son because they tried them on and thought they were amazing and they each wanted a pair. These are definitely quality shoes. I would recommend them for sure!

Great Shoes they are comfortable to walk in They are definatly warm ( I don't know about wearing them in the summer though) They are waterproof and my feet don't sweat when I wear them. What I really got them for was to use when Flying and going through security as they slip on and off easily. I call them flight shoes. and then when I get to my destination like Alaska, Idaho or Montana they make great camp shoes. They are great to put on after wearing hiking boots all day.I used to use water shoes and they were a little thin but lite though. I Don't know how they will be camping in the snow though. The size and fit were right on .
