5.0 out of 5 stars Love, love, love these shoes
I bought these shoes for the animal-friendly aspect, and also because I needed an easy, comfortable slip-on shoe for the loads of air travel that I do. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They are cushiony and soft, with no stiff back heel to rub blisters. The fleece keeps your feet warm, and the rubber soles are extremely quiet.

3.0 out of 5 stars not as great as I'd hoped
I picked these in plum with high hopes, as they looked like they'd have good support. NOT. Turns out that there was less support in these than my Acorn slip-ons by FAR. Also, they ran about half a size too small, so I couldn't have kept them anyway. And the plum in the picturen is far more rosey than in real life. They're actually more of a purple than the dark,...

I find that I can't wear these shoes exclusively for days, because the elastic banding around the opening starts to aggravate after the 3rd day. But otherwise, these are a great buy for the price - highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Super Comfy!, July 10, 2009

I really like these shoes. They are incredibly comfortable. I actually wore them for 8 hours the first day and had absolutely zero discomfort.

My only minor complaint is that they start to smell if you don't wear socks with them. I have never had that problem before, and it drives me crazy with these.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice, lightweight & comfy!, December 9, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Basically I can confirm what most of the other reviewers have said- they are comfy, I got them mainly for wearing round the house as I work from home. I'd seen them in catalogues too and find it usually pays me to look online for a better price. For some reason I didn't quite realise they were going to be fleece, I was expecting that fake suede material, probably some of the pictures I'd seen looked more like that. Because of that, I'm not sure they will be the most durable shoes although I have no doubt about the soles on that front. They are very supportive but flexible. I got black so the color was what I expected. For size, they are snug, not exactly tight, but seem to be giving as I wear them, so probably they do run on the small side. I'm usually size 5 and find most shoes too big but 5.5 in these would probably be a more comfortable fit as a house slipper - half sizes for these do not seem to be available anywhere. I have also been only wearing with socks. And I can already see what others mean about the smell factor - but then they are snug-fitting and all synthetic material, I'm not expecting it to become an issue for me...at least the insole is washable!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow. This is THE most comfortable shoe I've ever owned., December 6, 2009

I originally saw these in a home solutions type catalog, but I didn't like the hefty price tag or having to pay shipping and handling. I liked the shoes and wanted to try them, but not that much. So when I found them here, cheaper, I was THRILLED.

I wanted a pair of lightweight shoes that I could wear around the house as slippers, because we have lots of cold wood floors and regular socks and slippers tend to still be slippery (I've slipped too many times and have wreaked havoc on my back). So when I saw these flats and read the reviews, I knew I had to try them. It was a bonus that they were made of recycled materials.

Thanks to Prime shipping, I had them in two days...and I have to say, without a doubt, they are just about THE most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn. EVER. And not just "Oh, I put them on and they're really comfortable" comfortable. Or "Oh, they're comfy while walking around the house" comfortable. But honest-to-goodness "I wore them out and about on errands ALL DAY and my feet never hurt" comfortable. Now THAT'S the meaning of comfortable!

And while they are good to wear outside, they're also small and light enough to wear around the house as slippers (so I just tend to wear them all day). I would love to get all the colors for some variety, but of course everything other than black is WAY more expensive. So for now, black will do just fine.

As far as sizing, I've been a size 10 for quite some time, in most type of slip-on shoes (dress shoes, athletic shoes) and am usually an 11 for shoes without a heel back (like clogs, mules, or flip flops). But after having a baby, I'm finding that 11s are a little more comfortable overall, so I went with an 11. It feels a SMIDGE big, but since I wear them with socks, it fits just about perfect. However, when I wore a very thin sock with them, my feet slipped just a little on one occasion as I was trotting across the parking lot. So, my advice would be these are not for trotting, LOL - stick to walking if it feels a bit loose. I might be able to squeeze into a 10 - and since they're stretchy it might not be too bad, but I like the little bit of extra room. So overall, I'd say they feel very true to size.

This shoe is super comfy and perfect to wear with jeans for everyday running around , errands, and even to work! It does run a bit wide, and sometimes slips off my heel, but for the most part it is great.

5.0 out of 5 stars my favorite!, August 23, 2010
By Jellybean139 (redneckvill, WA) - See all my reviews
Love these shoes they are the ones I go for first they look cute with skirts and pants, I gotten a few "where did you get those, they are cute" complements. They are comfy, easy to wear and durable I've had them for about two years, I wear them once or twice a week and its time for a new pair!
I read another comment about the stink factor if you don't wear socks, I just use those cheep dollar insoles when they get gross I replace them, no stinky feet!

They're actually more of a purple than the dark, dusky rose I see on the screen. Nice construction, though, and they look like a high quality slipper for those who need no support.

I love these flats, the only thing I would say is if you are a 1/2 size go down to the whole size. I wear a 71/2, ordered this in an 8, a bit large, next time I will order a 7. Comfort wise, they are great, no break in time at all. Just wipe with a wet cloth to clean.
