a glass vibrator! genius!! i have this one and the non vibrating don wand blue ripple 'pleasure wand'. Don Wand Real Tip Curved Glass Pleasure Wand, Blue Ripple

the vibe is large. hefty girth and the nubs make it even more so. also the length on this is much longer than the ripple. the description says 8" usable length and i am sure that is correct. the vibrating feature is operated by a button on the end cap. no twisting or turning of it needed. this vibe has somewhere around 8 different patterns and intensities. i was pleasantly surprised by that. you do have to cycle through all the rest of the patterns to turn it off though.

the nubs on this toy are substantial and not gradual or graduating. big nubs! for me, they are almost too big. this must be used gently at first, but once relaxed and into it, i feel more comfortable with it being used a bit more aggressively. i am going to order the don juan vibe without the nubs. i am certain i will like it more than the nubbed. the nubs make this vibe a bit more difficult to clean up and being a vibe, you cannot soak it really, like i can with the ripple. the descript says it is waterproof, but i am not going to test that out. too spendy to replace if it isn't. i use a small toothbrush to make sure i get the nubs clean all around. it is a bit time consuming. these are the main reasons for the 4 star review, instead of a 5 star. huge nubs and difficult cleaning.

i am very careful with this vibe as is sounds hollow when bumped, say against the ripple. it sounds hollow because it is hollow. the batteries hide out inside there. just 2 AA needed. it differs from the ripple in this way too. the ripple is completely solid glass and even though it is smaller in every way, it is heavier. this toy comes with a cute little polyester faux 'velveteen' light blue padded bag to keep it safe and protected. it has a drawstring and toggle to keep it closed up.

since receiving these glass toys, the old toys have not been seen or heard from since. they may have set sail for the island of misfit toys. seriously, there are very few instances i can think of (and i CAN think of a few) where glass toys would not be appropriate. but for the vast majority of playtime, i am a glass lass.
