Very Surprising

still not to sure about these
I bought these because the earbuds that came with my ipod hurt my ears...bad. Maybe I just have weird shaped ears. One big reson I bought these is because it says "comfort" in the item name. This was definitely a good buy. I used the Cresyn's on my Ipod Classic. For a mere $20 these earbuds actually produce good sound and stay in my ears even when running on a treadmill. The design is unique. Instead of the earbuds sticking straight into your ear it's shaped in such a way that it sits in the crevice of your ear. I'm guessing the design lessens the chances of the earbuds to jolt around. They come with three sets of rubber tips. The middle sized ones are already installed on the earbuds and that size worked fine for me. I didn't experience any discomfort while using them. My gym like most has music blasting in the background with a bit of chit chat and laughter going on. It amazed me how much of that is blocked out while wearing these things. I especially noticed it when I pulled them out at the end of my workout. Holy cow, the noise! Given that I would not wear these while walking around on the streets for safety's sake. Just be very careful if you do. Going back to sound quality, I was extremely pleased with them. It was crisp and clear. The bass came out nice and strong which really surprised me. It made my music much more enjoyable to listen to which in turn gives me more motivation during my workout. The one odd thing about it is that the wires that come out from each bud is supposed to be routed over your ears, but I didn't find that to be a hinderance. Overall, I would highly recommend the Cresyn c230e.

There weren't any reviews on this item yet, so I bought the 1st set for my age 12 son. He loved them, so I tested them on different devices (MP3 player, laptop PC, Garmin, etc.). When you put them on without even plugging them into any device, I could bearly hear my hand claps. To ensure they weren't like some other sets who correct flaws by over emphasizing the bass or treble, I turned down the bass and then treble to zero one at a time. I was very pleased with the sound, and when I added the bass and treble back in, the sound was very, very good.I liked them so much I bought myself a set.

The sound is fabulous. They are light weight and I usually have a problem keeping ear phones in my ears but I don't with these. Love them.

Well....they are more comfortable than the ipod earbuds, but thats not saying much. As descibed, they go in your ear much differently. I feel like I have to look in the mirror in order to get them in correctly. Once they are in, the sound is good but they dont stay put for long. I realize I may have bought the wrong kind of earbuds since I am usually mowing the yard or moving around when I use my ipod. But I feel like they should stay in better than they do. If I were a runner these would not last me one block. I guess if you are sitting still they would work fine. If you intend to use these while moving around...keep shopping.

This is the first review I have posted. I am only posting because I feel that these headphones are a great cheap buy. My problem was that iPod standard earphones hurt my ears. These headphones feel great I don't even feel them when they are in, total comfort. The sound quality is equal if not better than the standard iPod headphones. They also do a great job of blocking out outside noise, they are not as good as Bose in this aspect but for 17 dollars you can't beat these. They also stay in place very well even when running. They are a little akward to wear but after you get the hang of them they are great. Going to buy a second pair for my wife. The only draw back is that there is no volume control on the wire. If you don't like the standard iPod headphones because of comfort you will love these little gems. If you want over the top sound quality spend more and go with Bose but if you want a replacement for standard iPod headphones buy these.

I am very happy with these headphones. I only use them for recorded books, so I can't say what a serious audiophile would think, but they are very comfortable, remain securely in the ear, and really reduce ambient noise. I would recommend these to anyone.

I'm hard on earphones. I've destroyed Shure E2C's and 110's not to mention many other brands. I was looking for a cheaper product with similar performance. My top criteria are: sound blocking, durability, sound quality, comfort, and value. If you use the orange Shure foamies you won't be able to beat these earbuds (It's a tight fit but it works). You also can't beat the price.

I have small ears and can usually only wear earbuds for a few minutes before giving up in agony. These were advertised as coming with three sizes, so figured I'd given them a try. The smallest size fits me perfectly! They truly are comfortable, something I've never said about earbuds before. The sound quality is good (not Bose quality, of course, but not Bose price either). Great value.

These headphones are great, until they break. After a few months, the insulation on the individual ear wires started breaking in places from being bent back and forth, exposing the wires underneath it. I covered it in parts with electrical tape.
The headphone jack has slipped from the rubber tubing around it, making me have to glue it back into place. If I was less patient, they would have gone in the trash. Every time they bend, they are one little bit closer to breaking through their coating, and exposing the wires. Sad, because the headphones are very good otherwise. I had bought three identical pairs of sony earbuds before these, and I thought that after those broke about 1.5 years after I bought them, that these would be better. I was wrong, they were much much worse. I'd never buy headphones from this company again, it seems like they use low-quality parts, and have poor durability.

Unlike most of the reviewers here, I'm lukewarm on these earbuds.
When I ordered these earbuds, I didn't understand that they have a peculiar shape that, if it doesn't require you to use a special procedure to put them on, at least encourages you to do so. The procedure is to loop the wire over your ear before inserting the earbud into the canal of your ear. The wire feels annoying at first, though that annoyance goes away after a few minutes. In addition, unlike the Apple earbuds, these don't just rest inside the ear lobe. You have to squish them into your ear canal. This seals out other noise, but if you don't like the kind of earbuds that are squished into the ear canal, look elsewhere.
I don't know but it may be that one bud is designed to go into the right ear and the other is designed to go into the left ear. In any event, I find that these earbuds require a lot more fiddling with to get to sit correctly in my ear. If their not seeming to fit, I take them out and switch ears and then it seems to work better. Even with all that, it's not uncommon for one of the earbuds to work its way out during a long walk. I tried all three different sizes of rubber skirts. If it weren't for the amount of fiddling with the buds to get them seated and to feel right, I would give this product five stars. Obviously, body sizes and parts differ from person to person so you mileage may vary, as the saying goes.
The sound quality is very good, but since I listen mostly to the spoken word (podcasts and foreign language practice), I can't say more than "very good."
Because the earbuds come with thin rubber skirts that seal the ear, they block out some of the outside noise. Contrary to what I infer from some of the other reviews, they don't block out all outside noise (which would be physiologically impossible because sound also travels through bone), but they do attenuate the outside noise. And because they are situated in the ear canal and not simply resting inside the ear lobe, the sound is louder at a lower volume setting on my iPod.
I will use these earbuds for a while longer and then continue my search for ones that are more compatible with me.
