Not really over priced
I'm just saying a few words about the complaint about this product being over priced & only getting a 2 star rating. If the guy had priced each individually he would find that the whole package came to $75.00 retail so $34.99 before the Amazon discount is pretty good. Even if you go out & get the best price you can find for each, you'll still pay between $45.00 & $55.00...
Good kit for traveling
Didn't realize I had everything needed with other items I ordered. This package is great for folks traveling around the world, but is not needed for US travel. Will be returning since I have no plans or current needs for foreign travel.

By the way I just got my Garmin 255W GPS & needed the accessory travel pack.

Although this includes a USB cable like the one that comes with the Nuvi 885T the other accessories will come in handy both at home and when traveling abroad. Highly recommended to expand your GPS' usability and to protect your investment.

Each component in the travel package is exactly right. The leather sleave fits my Garmin 760 perfectly and is easy to use. The wall charger provides the essential option to in-car charging. The USB cable is a good-to-have spare for the one shipped with the GPS.

This travel pack for the Garmin Nuvi 4.3 inch device is essential for world travel. I was in Portugal recently and used my GPS unit extensively, requiring several recharges during my vacation. The travel pack, with its collection of world plugs and protective case, is essential equipment. I wouldn't travel without it.

I have nothing negative to offer with this kit. It is well designed, includes all the accessories you could want and a great price here on Amazon. My point with this review is simply to say I don't have a use for it. I thought I would when I bought it. I can charge my Garmin in my car or by connecting the usb cable that came with my Garmin to my computer. After owning it for close to a year, I have not had a need for the charger or cable that came with this kit. The case is great - good size/proper protection/easy to use. Again, it sits in my glove box for that day when I decide I need it. If you have a use for this accessory kit, it IS worth buying and the one I would suggest you buy. My advice is to hang onto your $30.00 until you decide you really have a use for it.

Good deal for various items - AC charger and leather carrying case which allows the Nuvi 200W to be carried in my purse without worry of having the screen scratched.

I bought my son a Garmin 255W for a graduation gift, however it only came with a car charger. Apparently some of the Garmin's include a USB cable ~ not sure why all of them don't since the first thing you want to do is charge it up and register it. I ended up using my HP digital camera USB cable to connect it to the computer for registering his Garmin and charging it so he could enter some basic info and play around/get familiar with it before attempting to use it in his car (safety first). I bought this accessory kit for him to "complete the gift" so that he would (1)have a case to keep his Garmin in when not in use, thereby avoiding scratching the screen (2)have the flexibility of charging his Garmin at home (3)have his own USB cable for connecting to the computer ~ he has a bad habit of "misplacing" my stuff and he won't be living here forever (4)have international power adapters in case he needs them while traveling (or if I do and he lets borrow his Garmin). Purchasing each of these items separately was way more expensive! Since Garmin didn't package all of these "extras" with the Garmin itself, I am so glad they had them available in a Kit. So far he has used everything in the Kit except for the intenational power adapters and everything works as expected. I would recommend this to anyone who is in a similar situation or has the same needs as we did.
