I was so pleased after ordering several other video cards trying to get one that was low profile for my slimline 1/2 height desktop. This one wasn't explicitly labeled for use in low profile, but not only did it fit, it came with the low profile split brackets, adapters, s-video and component converters......absolutely everything I needed. My agp factor was not easy to find a card for and this card is awesome considering the limitations of AGP. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a low profile AGP card to try this one.......it is PERFECT!!

I had an old (2004) Dell Optiplex GX270 that I used occasionally, running XP. I installed Windows 7, but the old GeForce 4 card was not up to Windows Aero. This new PNY card was just the (inexpensive) ticket to bring the graphics performance a bit closer to the present and Windows 7 had a driver for it. This card is probably more than I needed, but hey, the price was right!
It's nice that it has both DVI and VGA outputs (I used DVI) and it includes a dongle for compoent video output, not that I intend to use them. A DVI to VGA adapter is also included. I can see the appeal of the low-profile brackets to HTPC builders as well. For me, the use of a passive heatsink was a very strong plus as I like my systems silent.
No frills in the box - the CD has just drivers - but I just throw out the games usually included anyway!

The video card arrived quickly and was packed well. The PNY card doesn't boast a super frame rate or blistering graphics processing power, but it fits my older AGP motherboard slot, and meets my requirements to a T. It uses a gorilla sized heat sink instead of the more common electric fan for cooling. Both of this card's predecessors went to their reward because of fan failures after years of almost constant running.
The VCG62256AEB provides an excellent picture to a Samsung 22" LCD monitor. Installation was easy, with only the tight quarters of a four-slot motherboard hindering a perfect installation. Ubuntu and XP Pro recognized the card and used hi-res drivers immediately. XP performance was further enhanced with an update to the latest Nvidia drivers.
This weekend I added a Windows 7 triple-boot to the same computer. Win7 recognized the card, worked immediately, and ran smoothly from the start. The card is an excellent buy, solid performer, and easy to install. PNY has already sent the rebate.

My old GeForce MX 200 64MB Graphics Card would freeze video play during both streaming and normal movie files. With this new 256MB card, I haven't had a problem yet. Installation was easy and it kept my old Compaq 5410US from going to the scrap yard. Highly recommended for computers with the older AGP 4X slot.

My old CRT monitor (for Dell Dimension 4600C) started flickering too much and I wanted to replace the monitor. I realized later that the computer does not support widescreen resolutions and I did not want to replace perfectly working computer. I ordered this and upgrade went perfect. The low profile bracket was included and I did not shell out another $10 towards it. The upgrade was smooth and was over in 20 minutes. I had no intention to use graphics and just wanted to buy widescreen LCD monitor.

I am fairly new to working on computers. I don't know much. I can switch some hard drives from masters to slaves, add memory, just your basic run of the mill stuff when it comes to the inside of a computer. I'm learning as I go so I figured this would be the perfect oppurtunity to try and fix an old cpu running an integrated 32mb video card I was given. My motherboard had 3 pci and one agp slot. I read that the agp cards work a bit better than the pci's so I went for this one. I figured that is a reasonable price to get a computer doing what I need it to do, instead of tossing it and buying a new one. It was easy enough finding a video card that was AGP and DDR2, but unfortunately this system is a little old school and needed an AGP DDR card. Luckily after searching through all of them I found this one. It took a matter of minutes to hook it up and the videos and games play so smooth now. You can get driver and motherboard updates for it once you install it from the websites, which is a big plus. and the NVIDIA control panel lets you tweak it, until it works just right for your personal satisfaction.

I bought this card for an older system that I want to run for a couple of more years. It installed easy, runs my samsung 22" digital and within power supply requirements. The only con here is update. Most of the older systems may be on dial-up and the up-date is for all PNY cards (about 80meg).I have had this card for about 3 months and no crashes so far.

I put this in an Optiplex GX260 with a 2.4 GHz P4 processor and 512 MB of RAM and it plays Civilization 4 reasonably well. I suspect that if I upgraded the RAM, it'd play about as well as a modern computer, as long as you didn't try to do anything else at the same time.

I needed a half height AGP8x card for a SFF computer that I am using with my TV to watch TV shows and 'flix movies over the 'net. This card with a DVI to HDMI cable works perfectly. It installed easily, worked straight away and displays the full 1080p. I had to adjust the Windoze display DPI setting to get fonts large enough to read from 8 feet away. However, after that I was enjoying streaming TV and movies using an old computer with this card, the aforementioned cable and an audio mini-jack to RCA splitter cable. Streaming 1080p for $40, I am pleased. :)

This PNY GeForce 6200 is a great graphics card for the money. I bought it to replace an older GeForce 5200 card, that came in my Dell Inspirion tower, that had gone out on me. My old card was about 6-7 years old and had bitten the dust. This was the closest card I could find to replace what my computer came with. Works great! My old card had 128mb RAM on board. I did not think bumping up to 256 would make much difference but it did. With the higher level processor and the next level of RAM on board, this card blows my old one away. I use this computer to surf the net and play a few video games, and it's never looked better. Now, you don't get a barn burner graphics card for this price, but you get what you pay for with this one. I would definitely recommend it. Be sure to go to Nvidia's website and download the latest drivers available for the card after you put it in. Your computer will more than likley have drivers that will run it, but downloading the latest drivers will make sure it is running to the best of it's ability. Great product!!
