Great stools!
These stools look great, were well packaged and easy to put together. And a great price to boot! I chose these stools because the style and color match my dining room table perfectly. Also, since they are very shallow, I can push them under the counter and they stay out of the way. Our previous stools were more like chairs with backs, and they took up a lot of room...

Nice Stool / Poor Quality Control
I purchased two of these stools for seating at our counterspace in our kitchen. The stool is very nice looking and goes together in about 30 minutes or so. (This was assembly time for each stool.) It's a little more difficult than you'd think given the number of parts.
Overall I like the stool EXCEPT that with each one there were parts that were missing...

Great stools!, October 7, 2009
These stools look great, were well packaged and easy to put together. And a great price to boot! I chose these stools because the style and color match my dining room table perfectly. Also, since they are very shallow, I can push them under the counter and they stay out of the way. Our previous stools were more like chairs with backs, and they took up a lot of room and we were constantly shifting them to get by. (They were also too short for our bar-height counter, but that is another story...)
As one reviewer previously mentioned, when you are unpacking the contents of the box, be sure to look for the red dots on the legs. The legs of the stool are packaged two together - both legs with red dots are in the same bag. The red dots ensure that the holes for the cross bars are facing the right way. I was surprised at how small the box was. It comes with an allen wrench and a total of 12 screws. I think it took about 10-15 minutes to read the directions and put the first one together.
One thing I wish I had thought about was the "feet". We have dark wood floors which show every little scratch, and I should have bought some felt pads for these at the same time. For now, I taped some of the the soft packing material under the bottom of the legs :)

Great and sturdy, February 13, 2010
This stool is great! It is wide and sturdy and just the right height.
I weigh over 300 lbs and this stool does not budge!
Takes a little time to put together but well worth it.
Nice color. It is of very good quality.
You will not be disappointed.

Great stools, January 28, 2009
We ordered these stools and did not know what we were getting for such a low price but we were surprised that they are such great stools. These are as good as any stools in the stores.Very well made and our 4 year old loves to sit on them while he eats at our pass through. I would buy these again.

Exactly what we needed, September 25, 2009
We ordered 2 of these stools to fit under our kitchen bar. They went together relatively smoothly with the enclosed hex wrench and hardware. It took me a little over an hour to get them both assembled. Be sure to pay attention when you unpack the pieces--two of the legs are marked with red dots and must be matched up to red dots on the underside of the stool. I unpacked everything before I read the directions and was chagrined to find that only one of the legs had a red dot. I made a wild guess as to which might be the other "red dot" leg and to my relief, the stool turned out just fine, no wobbles. I was less than thrilled to see that the support pieces that connect the legs were not sanded well and that the finish was uneven. It's not obvious to most, but I know the pieces could have looked better. It diminishes some of the satisfaction I have with the product, but not enough that I'd send them back! They were very well packaged, no damage at all in shipping. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

Cute and functional, August 9, 2009
These stools are great! We bought two after doing some comparison shopping online and around our neighborhood. Found the best prices at Amazon for the very same stools other places. They were easy to put together, with all of the tools provided. The color (we ordered the walnut) is true to the picture, and blends nicely with the existing table we had to put them under. The bench is wide enough where we feel well supported and they don't wobble. I often find my feet resting on the cross bars across the bottom, and haven't had any problems with that. They're light and easy to move if you need some extra seating in another part of your home for a gathering.

Great bang for your buck!, March 19, 2009
I purchased only 2 of the barstools and my kids fight over who's turn is it to sit on them. I have 3 children but only 2 stools. They are very comfortable and stylish. I will be purchasing another set.

Nice Stool / Poor Quality Control, July 12, 2010
I purchased two of these stools for seating at our counterspace in our kitchen. The stool is very nice looking and goes together in about 30 minutes or so. (This was assembly time for each stool.) It's a little more difficult than you'd think given the number of parts.
Overall I like the stool EXCEPT that with each one there were parts that were missing. Attempting to get the parts has proven challenging. With the first stool we had cut up the box before getting it all assembled. Mistake #1. Then we realized that it was missing one of the connecting leg pieces. Trying to figure out how to contact the manufacturer has resulted in a number of phone calls. The last one I finally reached someone at the manufacturer and they indicated that the only way I can get the missing pieces is to fill out a form that supposedly came with the stool. Now I'll need to go see if I can find the form - of which I don't recall seeing.
Using the two boxes we were able to get one completely assembled (parts combined of the two boxes eventually equaled one complete stool) and it looks very nice and is sturdy.
Now we face the challenge of getting our remaining pieces.

Very Well made....., March 22, 2010
This is a very well made stool, exactly as pictured as far as color but I goofed up and ordered 29" instead of 24". I was going to send them back but found out it was going to cost me over $25 and now that is no longer a good buy. I guess I will try to sell them on Craigs List!
