Nice frame for the price!!!
I had been looking for a good digital picture frame and researched various brands, seems like this was the frame that had most of the features I was looking for. Piximodo reflection frame has the best reflection, nice resolution and pictures look sharp and bright. It also comes with a 1GB inbuilt memory and plays mp3 songs as well... well worth it atleast for me...
Good hardware, bad firmware
I was given this frame and am happy with the hardware. The picture is sharp and bright, it has several inputs, it comes with a remote as well as menu navigation buttons on the side of the frame, and it has a removable wall mounting bracket. However, the firmware (internal software) leaves a lot to be desired. There is no timer to make it turn on and off at certain times...

I was given this frame and am happy with the hardware. The picture is sharp and bright, it has several inputs, it comes with a remote as well as menu navigation buttons on the side of the frame, and it has a removable wall mounting bracket. However, the firmware (internal software) leaves a lot to be desired. There is no timer to make it turn on and off at certain times of the day-either you turn it on and off manually or add an external timer. There is no random play mode, so pictures always display in the same order from the beginning of the folder unless you manually select the starting picture. It automatically plays a slideshow of photos in the root folder of your memory card, but you can only store 256 files in the root. Saving photos to a subfolder fixes that, but you have to manually select the folder each time you turn the frame on. It has 1GB of internal memory which is nice, but if you want to transfer photos from a memory card or USB stick you have to do it one photo at a time through a slow, non-intuitive process. It displays the pictures from my camera, but if I edit them on my PC, they often do not display. Some pictures cause it to lock up, others display darkly, some have a wide horizontal band with corrupted colors, etc. I have tried saving the JPG files from several different programs with different options but none have fixed the problem. It also seems to have a problem with photos saved at 1024×768 resolution (the native resolution of the frame). This should be the best resolution to use...the photos do not have to be resized to be displayed, they take the least possible space, and load the fastest-they just don't display. The person who gave me the frame bought one for himself and has similar problems with it. I tried to contact Piximodo's support but they never responded to me.

This is an attractive frame, which has a very good picture quality. This unit's 4:3 ratio of image width to height is a very important feature in this model. The Picture quality of the frame is also very good.
Once the unit is assembled, all you need to do is plug in your memory card or flash drive. The unit will automatically start a slideshow. The remote control also lets you zoom. But as for the picture itself, its crisp and vibrant. You can adjust the contrast, brightness, tint, and color by pressing setup at any picture on the remote.
It takes flash drives along with tons of other SD cards. Reads flash drives no problem, it also SCALES images VERY well. I had a 400 X 600 image and it scaled it no problem but for best results use a high resolution image and scale it down.
You can random mode the pictures so it shuffles through them and change transitions. Fast, Medium, Slow are the speeds I believe slow is 10 seconds. Which is enough for me.
This digital photo frame is the best, hands down. If your nervous about the company or brand don't be.

I purchased this frame through another company and liked it a lot until it started get green lines across the screen. This was within the 90 parts and labor warranty. They said they would send me a warranty card. That seemed strange since one was not included with the frame. I received the card two weeks later which should have taken only a couple of days. By then the frame had pretty well stopped working. The card was a 3rd party warranty company. I registered the card with company on line and they rejected it saying it was still under warranty by the manufacture. I went back to Piximodo and they said that was their warranty. I went back to the warranty company and they finally figured it out and said they sent me pdf files for me to fill out. By this time it has been over a month since I had reported the problem. The told me I had to mail in the frame insured which cost me over $25 and send a check for $20 to cover the return and they would charge me more if the return cost more. I sent it in and after a week or so, I checked and found they had received the frame. I waited a while longer and contacted them about the frame. They said it was in process and it could take 6 to 12 weeks. I am now out of a frame for over two months and they don't plan on fixing it for month or more. In a few weeks I received email saying they had decided to send me the money for the frame instead of fixing it and sign the attached pdf and email it back and they would send me a check for the purchase price. The did not mention my $20 return handling fee. I called and talked to a representative and he said he would talk to his supervisor. After a week I called and they said that they had change the form to include the $20 but had not notified me. They then sent me a new refund form which I signed and sent back via email. I did receive my check. This is almost 3 months of hassle. It was such a hassle to go through the warranty process that I will never order anything from Piximodo again unless the change there warranty. So many companies handle something like this in a few days by a return/exchange process and deal with the fixing it themselves. I could not find any thing on Piximodo's web sight describing the warranty or the warranty process that is used.

I was looking for a good frame at a reasonable price.. I stumbled upon this one.. Grt product at a very good price.. picture quality is the best I can get...Piximodo reflection frame has the best reflection, nice resolution and pictures look sharp and bright.
It also comes with a 1GB inbuilt memory It also plays mp3 songs.

Ordered this frame as a gift for the holidays, i cant even tell you how happy i was, my mom loved this frame. picture is clear and bright, you can actually see every pixel, uploading the pictures was fast and easy.order got shipped to me in 3 days(i asked for ground shipping) defiantly a good experience. highly recommended.

When we initially received the product, everything seemed to be working just fine- ordered 3 frames. We were actually excited about the product. A few months into it, the picture quality is bad, lines on the screen, playback feature wasn't working and now we cannot even turn it own. Called Piximodo customer service, leave messages for about 2 weeks, NO RESPONSE nor call back. Everyone we spoke to kept saying, talk to CHUCK. Chuck never returned calls.
I got upset, insisted that I wanted to speak to someone and would not accept any more voicemails. Lo and behold, Chuck picked up. Promised he'd send me warranty cards. A month later, nothing in the mail. I call again, Chuck actually picks up, gives me the shadiest excuse, "maybe the cards got lost in the mail".. what!!! Seriously, now am extremely hot and want nothing to do with the frames. Since this started, I went past my 90day manufacturer warranty and so of course I cannot get my money back. I insisted that I wanted to speak to a supervisor and Chuck says that I do not have anyone available. That's impossible, I knew that there had to be someone there higher than him. After yelling some more, he puts me on hold and actually gets me Jason- manager of sales and customer service. Says he'd make sure my warranty cards are mailed out, and apparently cannot offer me any compensation except for $10 off my next order. Are you serious??? Why would I order frames from Piximodo after this??
From other reviews I've seen, I will be dealing with this for a long time which frustrates me thinking about it. I think that it's only fair to get what you deserve. The frames are now only 4 months old, 2 don't work and I cannot imagine just throwing them out because Piximodo cannot do their job. I still have a need for the digital frames, I just want to buy them from a different company. Getting my money back is what would make this end.

I used it three times without any success. I thought it was me, the idiot operator ;) The interface is confusing and there are essentially no instructions. Now it doesn't even turn on. Called customer services for over a month. Long long waits on hold, many dropped calls, left message with supervisors (never a return call). After a month, I'm told I'm on my own! You better hope you get the ones that are working. The price is not worth it in my opinion, obviously. Very very unhappy!
