The D90 is a great combination of quality and features. I studied long and hard about which camera, if any, I might need. I already had a D70 and a D80... did I really NEED this upgrade? I was pretty sure that my use didn't require a D300. Now that I've been using this D90 for the past month, I'm delighted with my choice. First, the programability is great. I can take several pics very quickly. A higher percentage come out clear and usable. The LCD monitor is larger and way more helpful. The MB-D80 battery pack gives me an almost bottomless power supply so that I can shoot thousands of pics without worry. This is as Pro a setup as I'm going to need I think. I'm very happy with it. Now I shoot more, I get more shots. I get bigger, more refined product. But it takes me much longer to download and review and store these larger files. But it's worth it.
