A very tasty treat that I use before a bike ride or other activity. They taste a bit Too good!(I sometimes eat an extra after the ride!)

I was looking for something to snack on, so, I ordered some clif bars. They're great! though,they'd be healthier with less sugar.

Two boxes of twelve bars in each. For the price alone makes this a great purchase. You can't buy one box in stores for $30.00 but on Amazon you can get two. Great product on the go especially after a workout.

Taste and Energy, October 10, 2009

When I am going to ride or race on my bicycle for more than 40 miles, I tend to bring a Clif bar or two along...they keep me energized well enough and the choco chip taste is decent.

These are delicious, and a very efficient and convenient meal replacement. A little high in sugar, but otherwise very good. High quality ingredients and a nice variety of flavors.

Clif bars are a yummy part of our family's breakfast. Glad Amazon let's us subscribe to them as well. Makes it easy and now we never run out.

Does the Job, Lacks in Chocolately Flavor, July 29, 2009

After my workout today I needed some protein, but I didn't have my supply with me. So I scoured the nutrition-bar shelves at the 7/11 looking for a bar that offered protein, but also fiber, relatively low in calories, and low in sat. fat. I chose the Clif Chocolate Chip. 10 gm protein, only 240 cals (some of the bars were over 300), 2gm sat. fat, (many had as much as 5gm) and 5 gm fiber (some only had 1 gm). But I barely tasted any chocolate chips. Overall, still pleased with my choice. A "Builder" bar probably would have been better, since it offers more protein, but the store didn't have that.

Tasty and healthy treat, January 14, 2009

I get them delivered to me every few weeks by Amazon and have them for breakfast every morning that I do not eat out. It's a tasty treat and goes great with a glass of milk in the morning. It offers just enough energy to get me to lunch.

Excellent Protein Bars, January 12, 2009

Clif makes some of the best energy/protein bars on the market. My husband is allergic to nuts, so he can't eat most of the other brands out there.
The Chocolate Chip Clif Bars don't have nuts, so they are perfect for him.

This is the only thing that my picky 11-year old son will eat for breakfast now, and quite often for lunch. Someone called him "chubby" one day, which he's not, but in his pre-teen mentality he was refusing to eat breakfast or lunch for a while. Clif bars were a nice compromise. I feel better giving him these than some empty carb-laden garbage like toaster strudel or waffles, so I really can't complain, and I'm thrilled that he eats something vaguely healthy. They're easy to eat on the bus, or if he gets up early with a cup of 1% milk. I toss one in his lunchbox with a piece of fruit and a drink on days he doesn't like the hot lunch. I'm happy he's eating something decent, he's happy he's got something that he likes, so it's a win-win.
