5.0 out of 5 stars So Nice and Convenient!!
This stroller ended my very extensive, very picky stroller search. I was mentally prepared to spend 200+ for a nice, convenient stroller and was shocked to find everything I wanted in this model. I went to a local store that had them all in order to give them a hands on try. I investigated all the top brands - maclaren, peg perego, combi, etc. I held them up side by...

3.0 out of 5 stars Initially very happy but not when child gets to be 30lbs
Initially we really liked this stroller. It is very easy to open and close. It is fairly light weight and does have a nice storage bin. HOWEVER, once our daughter got to about 28lbs it got very difficult to manuever. You CANNOT steer with 1 hand and in fact really need to push with 2. I cannot imagine a 50lb child fitting in this seat. She is already outgrown this...

5.0 out of 5 stars So Nice and Convenient!!, August 21, 2009
This review is from: Graco IPO Deluxe Stroller, Gemma (Baby Product)
This stroller ended my very extensive, very picky stroller search. I was mentally prepared to spend 200+ for a nice, convenient stroller and was shocked to find everything I wanted in this model. I went to a local store that had them all in order to give them a hands on try. I investigated all the top brands - maclaren, peg perego, combi, etc. I held them up side by side. This is what I love about this one...
The easy of handling it is amazing - much better than the Combi (doesn't turn so easy). I can steer this stroller with one hand easily. The handles are comfy and a perfect height. They are higher than the standard (too low for anyone) stroller handles, but not too high for me (5ft4). Hubby is taller and they seem comfy for him too.
It reclines any way you want it. My 3 month old is more than comfortable in this stroller. I can recline it flat for diaper changes, just a little for him to see everything, or lay it back most of the way for naps. So many options. I had my 6 year old sit in it to make sure that it would hold in a fully upright position with an older child and it did great with her. I checked this because some reviewers seemed to have problems with this.
It has a flap that is sewn to the canopy. This flap wraps back behind the stroller. It keeps the sun from coming into the stroller from behind and still covers when reclined all the way back. It also has two nice deep pockets sewn into the flap that face out toward mommy. I love this. I can put my wallet, keys, and phone in there and have them all handy. I can't see it in the picture here, but mine has a nice, deep cup holder attached to the side - perfect for a water bottle. The basket can fit a large diaper bag if you put it in before you recline the back down too far. This isn't a problem because I can put the things I need at my fingertips in the back pockets of the flaps.
There is a five point harness and padded seat. The bottom edge of the seat can lay flat out for little ones or you can press two buttons and make the edge folds down for toddlers whose legs will hang over the edge. It seems like it would make sitting more comfy for an older child.
The best thing is the size. I have a small minivan and this stroller folds like an umbrella stroller typically does. It can go under kiddos feet if necessary and doesn't take up half my van like some models.
I purchased the Vegas patter and it is so cute - brown and tan. I am very happy with this purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good sturdy lightweight stroller with comfortable height handles, May 26, 2009

Purchased this stroller because I wanted something smaller than my travel system stroller due to the amount of space it takes up in the trunk of the car. I had a cheap umbrella stroller that killed us to use because the handles were so short. This stroller has comfortable handles that are about the same height as my big travel system stroller. I am 5'7" and my husband is 5'10" and it is comfortable for both of us. This stroller is light weight, steers great, has a cup holder, area underneath for storage. Storage area is small but enough to hold purse, couple of bags, etc.... There is a pocket on the back of the stroller perfect to hold a couple of diapers and travel size wipe container. I liked the fact that this stroller goes up to 50 lbs. My kids are in the 95 percentile for height & weight so we needed something that would last for a while. 5pt harnes is nice to keep little hands from grabbing things. Would recommend

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stroller!, April 2, 2009

I am very happy with this stroller. It is worth the price. I had been researching Umbrella strollers forever and just couldn't spend the $$ on a McClaren like my friend recommended. I think this stroller is just as good, if not better. I would recommend it to friends.

5.0 out of 5 stars Traded down for a lightweight stroller and was not disappointed., September 25, 2009

I recently traded my big, clunky Graco travel system for this stroller. I love this stroller. It is so lightweight and convenient to use. I can keep it my trunk so I have ready to use anytime I need it. I plan on taking this on vacation too. The only thing I would change is not having a belly bar on it. I will be buying an add on later. Overall, it is a great product and I am happy that I made this purchase.

3.0 out of 5 stars Initially very happy but not when child gets to be 30lbs, January 1, 2010

She is already outgrown this stroller at 30lbs. The canopy continuoulsy pops off. Luckily it is fairly easy to put back on. I am extremely unhappy with the manueverability of this stroller and am looking to replace it. We don't use a stroller that often anymore but when we do, I need something more user friendly in shopping malls or amusement parks.

1.0 out of 5 stars Hate This Stroller!, January 10, 2010
This review is from: Graco IPO Deluxe Stroller, Gemma (Baby Product)
We bought this stroller (in a different color, however) for our daughter when she was 7 mths old, she's now 17 mths and has hated it from day one. We started hating it about week 2. This stroller has a number of problems. First, the seat does not sit upright nearly enough. Our daughter is constantly pulling herself forward to be able to see out better because we cannot get the seat to straighten up high enough. At this point, the mechanism which pulls the seat upright, as well as to recline the seat is no longer working properly and the seat is steadily reclining further and further backwards. Our daughter is very tiny, so it's not a too heavy child problem. Second, the sun-shade is very poorly made, super floppy, and offers no significant coverage from the sun. It really started to show how poorly it was made within two weeks of use. With just a few folds and unfolds, the shade became so warped and mishapen, that it was totally useless. Also, the locking bars that are supposed to hold the shade in position while in use comes unsnapped with the slightest bumping of the stroller, popping the shade into the closed position. Now, the side carry strap has come unscrewed and no matter how often we re-screw it back, it wiggles itself loose while you're pushing the stroller around. Finally, the front wheels are terrible! After about 3 months of use, the front wheels started pulling terribly to the right. It really feels like it needs an alignment! We've taken very good care of this stroller, as it was intended to be used for future children as well, but it is clearly not going to last that long. It's barely made it 10 mths. If it were not for the expense, we would have bought a new stroller a long time ago.

It is a very sturdy umbrella stroller. Just perfect for my needs. I love that when you hang your bag on the handles the stroller doesn't fall over if it's empty. I compared it with all the other top umbrella strollers and price and think that this was the best pick.

I purchased this stroller because the travel system one I had was just too big to use all the time ... I love this stroller, it has all the features that I really wanted in a stroller without being a big and bulky ... I woul definiately recommend this stroller ...

4.0 out of 5 stars Meets expectations, February 14, 2010

Did quite a bit of research and trying out of lighter weight strollers (but not umbrealla strollers) and ended up with this one. It is much lighter and easier to maneuver then the big stroller we got with our travel system so that is a plus. Takes up much less room in the trunk as well.

I am 5'10" and my husband 6' and it is tall enough for us. Sure a little taller would be nice but it is more then fine and is better then most.

The only thing that bugs me is it squeaks when we push it. Not bad enough that I would do anything about it but still kind of annoying.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good for what you pay, November 16, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Graco IPO Deluxe Stroller, Gemma (Baby Product)
I bought this stroller based on the good reviews on Amazon. And yes, it is a good stroller, but its not great. Although it is easy to fold and unfold, I wouldn't say it can be done with one hand like people say. I'm tall (6ft) and although the handles are high enough, I do still kick the back of the stroller when I walk. The wheels are cheap-looking and I'm not sure how long they will hold out. If you can buy it on sale it might be worth it. If not, I'd really suggest that you spend a bit more to get a higher quality stroller.
