Review of Paradigm 7101 ACTIVcycle
Although I have not had the unit long I find it very good for exercising my right leg, had a complete knee replacement, during the Winter. A brought it up to my surgeon and he was very pleased with the unit. It was very easy to start using.

not as pleased with this one as I was with the first
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001IV6MV6/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title
I had one of these for about 6 years and it was lost during a storm where we experienced a power surge. I had been happy with it so ordered this one. This item is sluggish upon start up and does not achieve the same speed sustained as the first. I am dissappointed.

Better than I hoped for!, May 17, 2009
This review is from: Paradigm 7101 ACTIVcycle Motorized Exercise Cycle (Sports)
A must have for physical therapy. I have M.S. and this keeps my legs/arms moving when I'm too weak or fatigued to do it myself. I saw this item on another site for $169.Easy to lift and position. I find other family members using it too! Great product.

Love This Product, May 27, 2009
This review is from: Paradigm 7101 ACTIVcycle Motorized Exercise Cycle (Sports)
A friend has this product and loves it. She recommended that I get one. I did and needless to say, I also love it. I've used it for a few months and actually think it has helped my high blood pressure go down and a little belly and arm fat go off. Hey, there's nothing like exercising in front of the TV.

Very Disappointing!, June 29, 2009
This review is from: Paradigm 7101 ACTIVcycle Motorized Exercise Cycle (Sports)
If you're used to a hard workout, this isn't for you. I purchased the Paradigm while suffering an injury. I thought it would provide me with a good upper body workout. It didn't. I was disappointed with quality issues. The digital display never worked. One of the handles kept falling off. That was my first experience. I immediately wrapped it up and put it back in the box.
I believe a product like this would be good for someone who has suffered a stroke and needs to take small steps towards a workout. I just think this is lacking in workmanship.

light exercise, February 3, 2010
This review is from: Paradigm 7101 ACTIVcycle Motorized Exercise Cycle (Sports)
I purchased this item for my 89 year old mother at the recommendation of her physical therapist. She has mild arthritis in one knee and the other knee was replaced 4 years ago. So she has limited mobility but benefits from mild exercise, which is what this machine provides. She started out at the minimum settings as recommended in the manual and has gradually increased the speed and duration. She says she has less pain after using it for over a month and that makes it a worthwhile purchase.
Negatives, a longer cord on the controller would help and the digital display is not the easiest for older people to understand.

I returned this item. It did not bring my cardio vascular rate up enough to be worth the price.

Good stationary bike, January 21, 2010
This review is from: Paradigm 7101 ACTIVcycle Motorized Exercise Cycle (Sports)
This is a wonderful bike, and works well, takes up very little space and is easily stored. The only problem I have with this item is that it still slips around on the floor even with the pad that prevents slipping.

Love this, November 24, 2009
This review is from: Paradigm 7101 ACTIVcycle Motorized Exercise Cycle (Sports)
I have M.S. and with this you have no movement in legs so they tingle and with this I get my circulation going and no more tingling.
Thanks,
Kimberly
