I started with the pdx 4.100. After a week I purchased the mono version to power my subs. I would stack them but they're mounted to the backs of my rear passenger seats to conserve trunk space. Clean consistent power all the time. Made numerous changes to my system except for this amp. It's definitely a keeper. I love the small footprint and quiet operation. Just use good cables, wires, and the appropriate adapters where applicable and you'll be fine. I can't see myself using any other amp in my car.

Amp is outstanding. High-performance power from under my seat. BUT! Apparently, when you order the product online, despite them telling you there is a warranty, there is NONE! I set the levels a bit too high and hit some safety protection mode, but the amp got stuck in that mode. Watch your levels if you're installing on your own!

This amp will be more than enough to give you the power you're looking for. I feel like Alpine makes some of the most advanced car audio amps around, and this one is no exception. It is a *very* small design, which is a plus because you wouldn't think something in such a small package could have this big of a punch. It also keeps very cool to the touch. The only downside to this model is that it may be too much power for most users, and therefore too much money. But if you can get it on sale like I did, you will be blown away!
A WORD OF CAUTION: Because this amp is so powerful, it will use a lot of your car's electrical power once you install it. I was required to install a capacitor for my sub's amp just because I installed this amp. I have heard American-made cars have relatively inefficient alternators, so just keep this in mind when purchasing this product.

Bought this to replace my previous component amp. Works extremely well. I especially enjoy its small size and ease of setup. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great amplifier.

This is the best amplifier you can buy, great power and great size, you can put it almost on any space of the car, try to install component speakers with it.
