Excellent!! Worth the money...
While there are other "car ramps" out there on the market, nothing compares to the old matchbox & hotwheels ramps of the 70's & 80's. Until now that is. The KidKraft Deluxe Garage set is everything I had hoped for when I bought it for my 2 1/2 year old twins. My Boys somewhat enjoy this toy
My 4 and 5 year old boys got this one from Santa - some assembly required (about an hour).
While they enjoy the garage, they don't play with it as much as I had thought they would. Comparatively, the old matchbox garage with all plastic parts and more ramps was played with much more. Only problem with the older cheaper garage was durability.

While there are other "car ramps" out there on the market, nothing compares to the old matchbox & hotwheels ramps of the 70's & 80's. Until now that is. The KidKraft Deluxe Garage set is everything I had hoped for when I bought it for my 2 1/2 year old twins. The craftsmanship is great, the details are excellent & the overall value for what your getting is worth it. I put this together last night (getting ready for Christmas) and was very happy with the overall quality construction and the ease of putting it together. It took me about an hour to complete and the directions were perfect and easy to follow. This set comes with it's own wooden cars (similar to the cars & trucks used on Thomas Train sets) but it will accept & work with Matchbox & Hot Wheels cars as well. I would highly recommend this item.

Excellent product for the price, January 12, 2009
So, yes, there is some time involved in putting this together, however, the directions are clear and accurate. If you are not handy with a screwdriver and have no patience, then this is not for you - or pay someone to put it together. Having said that, the reason it takes awhile to put together, is because once it is put together, it is solid and once it is together, that is it.
We have had other similar items and the plastic snap-together types are wobbly and you end up putting them back together again and again.
My daughter loves it - she can use all her hotwheels and matchbox cars on it, and there is enough detail to keep her imagination going for an hour or more.

Extremely well constructed. It took my husband and I about 2 hours to put this garage together, but well worth that time. Everything is put together with screws. What I like most about this garage is that it is one of the few garages that you can start a car down the ramp from the top and if will continue to go down each ramp until it gets to the bottom. Most other garages go down one ramp and the child must push the car through the garage to down a second ramp. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone. FIVE STARS!!!!!!!!!!! Janna from Virginia

I bought this for my 3-year old for his birthday and he absolutely loves it! It is money well spent. I researched a lot before buying it and found this to be the best garage/play set around. He especially enjoys the 3-story ramps and the elevator. It is hard to put together and the instructions are not 100% clear, but it is worth it!

My 2 and 4 year old sons love this toy and frankly, so do my wife and I. We put the parking garage on top of our kid sized picnic table and we can all play with it together. It takes some patience to put together, but we didn't find it to be difficult and the end result is really great. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Great garage, January 31, 2009

This is the sturdiest garage I have found. We have 2 boys ages 6 and 4 and they have gone through 2 other garages. They really like the 3 levels and the fact that they can put the car on the top and it will spiral all the way down to the bottom. Most others stop at each level. Assembly seemed simple enough. My husband had it together in about 15 minutes. My 4 year old likes that it's taller and he can kneel in front of it instead of having to hunch down or lay down to see the lower level. It's big enough for 2 children to play at the same time. All around great toy.

Great Toy - Must have for little boys!!, January 10, 2009
Bought this for my 4 1/2 year old for Christmas. WOW!! They don't make toys like this anymore! Very sturdy!! Much better then all those plastic match box sets we have that fall apart about every time he plays with them. He loves this toy and I can seem him playing with it for years to come!! He plays with his cars on it and even his action figures!! This is a must have for a little boy!!

This garage is a quality product that I would recommend to anyone looking for something like this for their kids. The assembly is slightly challenging (took me about an hour), but well worth it. This is mostly due to the fact that it is mostly wood and you have to screw lots of parts together, but the directions are easy to follow. I'd much rather spend an hour on a quality product like this than 10 minutes on an all plastic piece of junk found at the local toy store that will break in a week.
My son loves this garage and it was money well spent.

Deluxe Garage Set, December 28, 2008
My 6 year old & 4 year old grandsons loves the deluxe garage sets. It was easy to put together and its made of wood. We would recommend this item. It is awesome. We bought two of these items.
