SIMPLY AMAZING
I have been to dozens of top dermatologists and have used everything--ProActive, AcneFree, oral meds, scrubs, masks, LightStim, Dermastyle, etc--don't waste your time with these things that barely work. The OmniLux is incredible! Not only does it kill the existing blemishes but it actually prevents new ones, and you only have to use it for 20 minutes twice a week. I...

The blue light works, takes forever!!!!
The blue light works and has kept acne at bay but the red light is extremely bright gets really hot and turns off in about 6 minutes. It also breaks me out. It also takes an unbelievable amount of time to do your entire face. You have to hold the light to your face for 20 mins on each area and the device is small so it can take two hours. The blue light works, takes forever!!!!, May 15, 2009
This review is from: Omnilux Clear-U (Health and Beauty)
The blue light works and has kept acne at bay but the red light is extremely bright gets really hot and turns off in about 6 minutes. It also breaks me out. It also takes an unbelievable amount of time to do your entire face. You have to hold the light to your face for 20 mins on each area and the device is small so it can take two hours. I am pleased with the results of the blue light and the skin products but I could of just bought a blue light that covers my entire face that only takes 15 mins for half or more than half the price. I'm stuck with this product so I will continue to use it for the blue light but I wouldn't recommend people spending this much. I gave it 3 stars because it is getting rid of my acne.

SIMPLY AMAZING, February 18, 2009
This review is from: Omnilux Clear-U (Health and Beauty)
I have been to dozens of top dermatologists and have used everything--ProActive, AcneFree, oral meds, scrubs, masks, LightStim, Dermastyle, etc--don't waste your time with these things that barely work. The OmniLux is incredible! Not only does it kill the existing blemishes but it actually prevents new ones, and you only have to use it for 20 minutes twice a week. I have struggled with moderate acne for 20 years and this has changed my life. No more painful face and bumps. No more hours carefully applying makeup. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. This is a powerful, at-home, professionally designed acne SOLUTION. Finally! Worth every single penny. I wish I had it 20 years ago, and I am so grateful for it now.

Burned My Skin 3 Months Ago - Photo Therapeutics Inc Still Hasn't Responded, September 1, 2009
This review is from: Omnilux Clear-U (Health and Beauty)
My reason for writing this review is to warn others about this device and Photo Therapeutics Inc.
I purchased this device April of 2009. Prior to using the device I read the manual and even emailed the company additional basic questions that were not addressed in the Manual. I then proceeded to test the device on my arm per the instructions to see if my skin was compatible with the treatment. I had no adverse reaction and proceeded with the initial treatments as recommended in the instructions. I used the device on my face and upper back area for 1 month with no problems.
Then during one Blue Treatment session on my upper back, after just 5 minutes my skin felt like it was burning. When I removed the device there were dark grid marks on my back left from the device. The burn was the exact size of the device and every light bulb had literally burned through my skin leaving a horrible-looking graph on my back.
I contacted Photo Therapeutics Inc. the next morning via telephone and emails. I left messages to which it took them 3 full days to reply. When I was contacted by an individual, he told me that there had been cases of adverse reactions before. The individual I spoke with said that the device had burned through my skin and to apply aloe vera and treat it topically as I would a sun burn. He also said that my device could be faulty and that I would need to send it to them so they could test it. I sent it back at the end of June, 2009.
One month after sending the device in I emailed and telephoned my contact at Photo Therapeutics for an update. I received no response for over a week. Finally, he informed me that there was nothing wrong with my device and that it was my skin that was the problem. He said I had an adverse reaction to the device and that the Company is still deliberating whether to issue me a credit towards another one of their products or refund me.
As of today, over 2 months has gone by since I returned my device. I have still not been contacted. I ended up without the product, out of my $248.10 and the only thing I have to show for it are burn marks on my back that have taken 6 weeks to lighten.
I am extremely disappointed with the device and with this company's customer support. My advice to all is that this product can in fact damage your skin and the arm test will not always reveal whether your skin is compatible with this treatment.

no change yet, June 10, 2009
This review is from: Omnilux Clear-U (Health and Beauty)
I'm 35 years old. My acne is female hormone related. After 4 weeks of treatment, I still see no difference. disappointing. I will continue to use it, though. Too expensive to give up this quickly.

Works, but it broke after 3 uses!!, June 12, 2009
This review is from: Omnilux Clear-U (Health and Beauty)
I liked it, it worked on my skin, but now won't turn on!!! I only used it 3 times! not recommended. Expensive for only 3 applications. Save your money and go to a dermatologist for red/blue light treatment.
