60 Inch Regal TV Stand with Mount, October 15, 2009
After spending hours looking at options for a TV stand or wall mount, I came to the decision to get a TV stand with a mount built in (because I live in an apartment). This is without a doubt the best choice in this category. It took me no more than 2 hours from the time I opened it until it was put together. The directions are pretty straightforward, even though I messed up a couple of times and had to backtrack. You can probably reduce the time it takes to build this by 50% if you have another person helping. Also, I HIGHLY recommend the 60" version over the 42" one. It is definitely worth the extra money. My 50" flat screen goes perfect with this stand.
Here are the pros:
- The parts were very well packed
- Looks sturdy, quality material. This should last me my entire lifetime...
- Simple, easy to follow directions. Everything is labeled.
- A plethora of screws/bolts for TV mounting options (your TV is almost sure to have the correct mounting screws included)
- The mount is the best mount I've ever used. The mount is made to be very easily adjustable. It tilts vertically, as well as horizontally. It will not, however, slide side-to-side (horizontally) or up and down (vertically), but the tilting options are more than enough.
- BEAUTIFUL STAND
- Plenty of space
Cons
- I've noticed dust collecting on the glass after a few days. I have a micro fiber cloth nearby now, and I'll probably have to make it a task to wipe it down real quick once a week. Not really much of a con though.
- It may take a little trial and error to get your TV on the stand at the desired height. You can eliminate the trial and error by doing some simple measuring/guesstimation though.
- Fingerprints might be a problem for people with kids.
- Might need extra washers. They gave me the exact number of washers that I needed, and I almost lost one when I dropped it.
Other things
Make sure you have plenty of space to put it together, and set aside a couple of hours to put it together. I have the TV the highest it will go (without allowing the mount to be visible) and there is about 7-8 inches from the top layer of glass to the bottom of my TV. This allows space for a quality center channel speaker to be placed directly under the TV. Lastly, if you're looking for a home theater system to go with this stand check out EMP Tek. Their Impression series speakers (in red burl color) match this stand perfectly; They will blow any mainstream brand speakers out of the water, too.
I can't really say enough about this stand. I have gotten comments on it from every last person that's seen it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Functional and beautiful, March 14, 2010
This review is from: Walker Edison Regal 42-Inch 4-in-1 TV Stand with Mount, Wood/Black (Kitchen)
This stand fits my needs to a tee and is flexible enough so I can make a change in the future if I should need to do so. It arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. It is very heavy and I did need another person to help me carry it into the house. It comes with a multitude of parts but it is easy to understand how to assemble the unit. I supervised my 11 year old grandson and watched him assemble it in about an hour. (my supervision consisted of making sure all the nuts and bolts were tight and to double check the pieces were assembled in the correct order, other than that things went very well) There were no parts shortages, in fact we had a few bolts left over in most cases.
I chose to have the unit with the TV attached rather than mounting the TV to the wall or using the stand that came with the TV set. It has many adjustments so you can move the TV to different positions on the stand to suit the place you set it up in your room.
It looks beautiful and it is very sturdy and functional. I mounted a 46" TV without any trouble. The wires run up the back of the unit out of sight making for a clean uncluttered look in the room. The glass is very heavy and very dark and needs to be dusted on a regular basis but you would expect to do that anyway I would think.
I am very pleased with the unit and the price at Amazon which included free shipping was outstanding. I would certainly recommend it to my friends and many of them have remarked on how nice the unit looks after they have seen it in person.

Great TV Stand, January 19, 2010
Purchased this 42" stand a few weeks ago. Was easy to assemble, Looks Great, Sturdy. I mounted my 50" Plasma on it, it extends beyond the stand a few inches on each side, but looks like they were made for each other. A great addition to my living room. The only suggestion I would have is maybe a couple of small rings welded on the inside of the rec. tubes of the cable management system so you could "zip tie" the cables so they would stay inside. Other than that minor thing, I would recommend this product to anyone. It's funny, I was in Walmart the other day, noticed a couple looking at a TV stand that was similar but much inferior in it's design. I suggested they look on Amazon for this one, lower cost, much heavier designed, even heavier glass shelving. They thanked me very much and walked away. I think people need a good deal once in a while, and I do this every chance I get. Like I said, this is a great product, and I don't think you can find a better quality TV stand for the money. I would not hesitate to use this stand for up to a 54" or possibly a 60" TV. Depends on the space you have, the larger 60" version may work better for a larger TV if you have the room for it, my space was somewhat limited and the 42" version worked quite well.

Looks great, sturdy, and small package, January 12, 2010
This review is from: Walker Edison Regal 42-Inch 4-in-1 TV Stand with Mount, Wood/Black (Kitchen)
The box was packaged great; nothing was damaged inside the box. The glass panels are inside their own smaller box inside the large one. It takes about an hour to assemble the whole thing. It certainly helps to have a second pair of hands to put it together and it's required to mount the TV. I would suggest that you read the instructions first to know how it's all pieced together and find the pieces, saves time. The parts are all placed into small plastic boxes. One of them has the part numbers marked, making it easy to find the screws. It also comes with a ton of screws, metal, and rubber washers for mounting different types of TVs.
The wood part of the stand is made from real wood which is hard to find and it looks great. Its 42inches wide but it's about 20 inches deep; I consider that to be a small footprint. Mounting the TV to back frame was real easy. The mount can be adjusted up/down and side/side views. This can be done if you mount it on the stand or the wall. I mounted a 27 inch LCD for now, a 46 inch LCD is set for the future. The mounting holes are plentiful. My LCD mounting is 100mm x 100mm, the TV mount had one more hole setting smaller than that. The mount ranges are 470mm top to bottom and 640mm left to right.
The shelves are made from glass with a black liner on the bottom, they look great. The shelves are not adjustable. I was able to fit my rack stereo receiver in the bottom shelf with 1/4 to 1/2 inch space on top. Since it's an open shelf, I'm not worried about heating issues. There are holes in the back frame to fit the cabling for each shelf. I wish the holes were larger or have two holes for each shelf. The cable management as they call is just the holes and wire mesh back frame. It gives the stand a cleaner look but you still have a cable mess behind that.
Once it's was assebled, it looked great. The wood has a cherry wood like color. It certainly looks like much more expensive than it is. Given that you get the TV mount along with the stand, it's a great deal. The 4-in-1 stands for the following: TV on stand base, TV mounted on wall, TV mounted on stand, 1 TV mounted on wall & 1 TV on stand base. I don't know how the customer service is; I didn't have a reason to call them.

Walker Edison Regal 42-inch 4-in-1 TV Stand with Mount, March 7, 2010
This review is from: Walker Edison Regal 42-Inch 4-in-1 TV Stand with Mount, Wood/Black (Kitchen)
Using this to mount a Samsung 50" 720p 600Hz Plasma HDTV PN50B450. I researched stands for a couple months and found nothing to compare to this in the price range. My wife was dead set against the chrome and black look of most stands available with this configuration and loves the cherry finish of this stand. I was originally going to buy the 42" Samsung Plasma (PN42B450) but it was out of stock (purchased elsewhere - newegg). I considered the 60" version of this stand to go with the larger TV but we live in a Condo and that was not a good option. I am happy to say that this stand works very well with the larger 50" TV. We have the TV mounted directly to the stand and they look like they were made for each other. The cherry finish and the black glass shelves are attractive and look very good in our living room.
The stand was packaged well, it shipped with everything necessary to put it together, as well as tons of extra hardware for different TVs and mounting options (i.e. wall mounting the TV). The assembly instructions were terse but certainly adequate. I put it together myself in about an hour but I did get the wife's help to hang the TV at the end. There were a couple early steps that would have been easier with another set of hands but no big deal at all.
Overall I am extremely happy with this TV stand, I would highly recommend it.

Great Quality for a Great Price!, March 13, 2010
This review is from: Walker Edison Regal 42-Inch 4-in-1 TV Stand with Mount, Wood/Black (Kitchen)
We went to every store in town looking for a tv stand...we spent over a year looking...Best Buy, Fry's, Target, Sam's Club, Costco, Sears, etc. Everything we saw was either cheaply made or very expensive. Finally, one weekend we decided to search Amazon again and rather than just looking at the top items that showed, we scrolled through every page. This stand jumped out when we saw it and every review seemed to be positive so we decided to take a chance. It was delivered quickly and took part of an afternoon to assemble. The wood is solid and beautiful. I love the smokey black glass too. And, having the mount for the tv itself gives us three full shelves to work with. We've got our sound bar on the top with the video game and audio consoles on the bottom two. Because of the shape of the unit, it looks nice in the corner of the room which is where we wanted the tv. You will not find anything this nice for this great a price anywhere else!

Easy to assemble and looks nice!, March 8, 2010
This stand took about half an hour to assemble. The directions were fairly simple. However it did not mention anywhere on the manual that the metal bars, to hold the frame, had to be stretch a little for it to fit properly. The packaging was a mess since the styrofoam gets crushed easily and you'll have little snow balls all over the place. I was also missing some washers which is easily replace but a bit of a hassle to go and pick up at a local hardware store. Aside from all the little madness, it was worth it. The stand is very sturdy and looks beautiful. I mounted a 42" LG LCD onto it and I love how light it is. I have no trouble moving the TV and the stand all together by myself.

Easy to setup...shelves could be deeper, February 5, 2010
This review is from: Walker Edison Regal 42-Inch 4-in-1 TV Stand with Mount, Wood/Black (Kitchen)
I had just bought a 47" Vizio LCD and this looks great with that. Cable management was very easy with this design and I was able to attach my surge protector by looping it behind the stand. It swivels very smoothly and doesn't take up a lot of room in my house. The one downside I have is that it could be a few inches deeper. My 5-disc DVD player can't be centered because the cables stick out to far for it to go straight through the holes provided in the bracket and my Yamaha receiver barely fits. Other than that it works and looks great.

Great TV Stand!, January 7, 2010
This review is from: Walker Edison Regal 42-Inch 4-in-1 TV Stand with Mount, Wood/Black (Kitchen)
For the price this is a very good stand. It is easy to assemble, has the smallest footprint of all the stands I looked at and has no problem supporting a 52" LCD TV. I had a problem with a small crack in the front wooden leg, the company was great and sent me a new one immediately. I recommend this product highly.

Very pleased, July 5, 2010
I searched extensively for a good looking and sturdy stand suitable for a Sharp 60" LCD TV. I wanted the stand to be no larger than necessary for the TV and associated cable box, DVD player, video game machines, etc. Also, I wanted rounded corners and the ability to rotate and tilt the screen when desired.
This stand met my needs and exceeded my expectations. The 60" LCD was mounted in its highest location (I used the "TV mount attached to the stand" configuration). There is 4.5" of clearance between the top glass shelf and the TV's lower edge, giving usable space for electronics or whatever. The widest dimension of the top glass shelf is 1" wider than the TV screen, so the size is a "match" in my opinion.
All parts were present, assembly was easy, the unit is strong, and the appearance is top notch. The glass shelves seem plenty strong enough for my needs.
I still need to arrange my cables better as they remain somewhat visible.
I would recommend this stand.
