5.0 out of 5 stars Good Product, Excellent Customer Service
I purchased this new at Babies R Us after our second daughter was born less than a year ago. I purchased the stroller in September and used it for a month. I loved the stroller when we tested it and for the first month. Then I had trouble keeping the tires inflated. Two sets of tire tubes later and I still have to pump them up everytime we go for a walk or want to use the stroller. So I am done. I purchased this new at Babies R Us after our second daughter was born less than a year ago. A few weeks ago one of the tires went flat and I couldn't fix it, so I contacted the company for a replacement. I couldn't get through on the phone so I e-mailed them through their website. Within a day I heard back stating that they would ship a new wheel. Within a week I had a new wheel, free of charge without having to provide a receipt to prove that it was under warranty! I would definitely recommend this stroller or any Baby Trend products.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Double Stroller EVER!!!!!!, May 27, 2010
This review is from: Baby Trend Double Jogger - Gray Mist (Baby Product)
I am amazed that there are any negative reviews on this stroller. I LOVE IT!!! Purchased from Babys R Us in October for trick-or-treating with my 3yr old and 4 mo. old. I have it in the burt orange & brown color, with the MP3 speaker hook-up. This stroller is a dream. Kids love it & I love it. With storage in the canopy, in the sides of the seats, behind the seats and below the seats, this thing is a pack mule! Parent tray has 2 cup holders and closed compartment in the center long enough for a check book. My diaper bag is a little too bulky to put under the seats, so I use baby links to hang it from the handle--works perfectly. Seats recline independently so the little one can sleep while big brother is sitting up and alert. So easy to push and collapses easily & fairly flat for a double stroller. We have used it on lots of rough terrain, as well as in shopping situations and it never lets me down. My son, now 4, is big for his age, and still fits comfortably. This is the ONLY stroller he will actually ride in. Every other stroller I've ever had he just wanted to push it. We are probably pushing the max. weight capacity, but it dosen't seem to show any signs of straining. If we go several weeks between use, we sometimes have to add a little air to one tire or another, but not a big deal.

If I had to name a complaint, I would say its width is a little too wide. Can barely squeeze it through a handicap accessible doorway. But that's not really an issue to me, since I mostly use it outside.

In my opinion, it is worth every cent I paid and I will be sad when my kids out grow it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rented this stroller for Disneyland and now want to buy it!!, April 21, 2010

I've had a Jeep 3 wheel stroller for the last 4 years, through 2 kids and I've loved it! Honestly, I've used it almost every day for 4 years and it still works great. The double stroller I bought when my 2nd was born (Graco Duo Glider) was nice, but my son is so tall he didn't fit in it after about 3 months. I found it very hard to manuveur compared to my Jeep. So, I just got rid of it. We planned a trip to Disneyland and I knew my son would not make the two long days without a stroller and they don't rent double strollers at Disneyland. So, I went online and searched through stroller renting options and ended up renting this stroller from a company called Babysaway. By the way, they are great! Dropped the stroller off at my hotel and picked it up after we left for a very reasonable price. Anyway, my husband and I absolutely fell in love with this stroller! I've been longing to be able to take long walks with my two kids since my daughter was born, but my son doesn't fit in much. He's 44 inches tall at only 4, but he still can't walk fast or for long distances so I can get a decent workout. He does still like riding in a stroller though. He was comfortable in the stroller for 2 days around Disneyland. Yes, it's still a bit of a tight squeeze for his head, but much better than other strollers we've tried. The stroller practically drove itself. You barely have to push it, even with over 50 lbs in it. The basket is nice and roomy and it has pockets on the back of the seats too. It folded really easily and I figured it out without being instructed how to fold it by the rental company. It turns really easily with one hand. This stroller was a dream and I really think I'm going to pull the trigger and purchase one just to use it for the next year so I can take some nice long walks. I didn't have to put this stroller together, so I can't speak to some of the complaints of other reviewers, so I guess I'll have to update my review if I buy one!

5.0 out of 5 stars looooooove it!, January 15, 2010

Sad to hear the troubles of the other reviewer... sounds like someone didn't want her to have this stroller! I got mine for Christmas and after reading the easy instructions--put it together like a breeze. It is a super smooth ride and turns amazingly (so much better than my clunky sit-n-stand!). It has awesome storage--large basket underneath and pouches on the rear of the seats. It even comes with a speaker for my iPod--yay! Only complaint is about the latch and the folding. We didn't see the latch at first, and bent it by accident, although it appears to still work. Also, when unloading the folded strolled from the car and attempting to unfold it, I scraped the front wheel casing on the ground before I even used it--but I thought this was bound to get pretty scuffed in the long run anyways since it's where the kids' feet rest (but still sad to damage it right off the bat!). I took it on a nice walk on city streets/sidewalks, and it was great. Highly recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars 4 strollers later..., February 3, 2009

I bought and returned 4 of these strollers within 1 month.

Why was I so crazy? I really wanted this stroller. I thought it was perfect for my needs. After weeks of internet searches, comparing strollers, and reading reviews, I went to Babies R Us 4 times in 2 weeks to test drive their floor model. I brought my 2yr old and 5 month old to test it out too. I loved how easy it was to push and steer it. It was a dream. I love the ratcheting canopy, the parent tray, the storage, individually reclining seats, etc. I just loved it. So, I bought one.

After I put it together and was pushing it around my home, I noticed the wheel did not turn well at all. It was NOT locked, I checked. It would just skid sideways and not turn. This was a deal breaker. I already had a stroller that was difficult to steer. So, I exchanged it.

The second stroller turned well and seemed wonderful. We took it to the mall for a test drive and when I went to put it in the car, I noticed that the trigger on the left side to collapse the stroller wouldn't pull. Then, I realized that it was because it was never locked! It was broken straight out of the box! So, I returned it. At this point, I took a moment and called the manufacturer. I told them about my difficulties with their strollers and that I was actually considering getting a third one. I wanted some kind of reassurance of good customer service in the event that I got a stroller that wasn't broken before I got to use it. What if something breaks after 3 mos? After 15 min of going through a looped recorded message, a rep finally answered the phone. The rep told me that these things happen and that there is a 6 mos warranty. They would send out a prepaid shipping label and have the stroller back to me in about 2 weeks. She had a very matter of fact tone. Just from that conversation, I got the impression that my business didn't matter. I didn't trust that I would be helped if I needed it.

With that said, yes, I did go on to buy it again. I really wanted this stroller. I decided to change vendors and ordered 2 online through Target. I ordered 2 because I was no longer confident that I would get a stroller that wasn't defective. Yes, I did still want this stroller. The website said they would ship in 4-6 weeks but I got them both within a week. I was very excited. Unfortunately, my excitement was shortlived when I pulled them out of the box. Zip ties had been already cut off of them and thrown in the box, the tires were covered in a sticky grease, and the paint was all chipped away where the swivel wheel attaches... on BOTH strollers. I was going to overlook the fact that I was obviously getting someones returns. We took one to the mall for a test drive. It was great... until we left. As I stepped off of the sidewalk onto the parking lot, it began to violently shake. It shook so strongly that, if I had been actually jogging, it surely would have flipped upside down and my girls' faces would have hit the pavement.

Most of these defects were more irritating than anything but the shaking and broken latch put my children at risk.

So, 4 strollers later, I'm done. I wish this stroller wasn't such a poorly made piece of garbage. I would not recommend anyone buy this stroller. I saw similar reviews but took a chance... I took 4 chances. Don't waste your time, gas, and money in shipping. Spend a little more and get a product you can trust.
