Love Babytrend!
I have this stroller carseat combo in another pattern. I wanted this pattern so bad but couldn't find it anywhere! My daughter is 8 months old and is getting a little too big for the carseat, but it has served us well. The stroller is great for shopping. You don't have to worry about trying to rest the carseat on a shopping cart because you have plenty of room in the...

Not what I expected
This stroller is for my second child who is now a month and a half old. The stroller itself is very lightweight and easy to unfold and re-fold. The basket beneath is big enough to hold a lot of bages and purses and the cup holder and adjustable handle is also nice and very conveinent. The bad part about this stroller is the infant carrier. It is very heavy, even...

Not what I expected, December 21, 2009
This review is from: Baby Trend Travel System, Skylar (Baby Product)
This stroller is for my second child who is now a month and a half old. The stroller itself is very lightweight and easy to unfold and re-fold. The basket beneath is big enough to hold a lot of bages and purses and the cup holder and adjustable handle is also nice and very conveinent. The bad part about this stroller is the infant carrier. It is very heavy, even without the baby inside, and the straps do not adjust easily or very far. I doubt our son will fit in this seat longer then a few months. Both myself and my husband have a very hard time fastening the crotch latch and the plastic is very cheap feeling. The material of the stroller and car seat is too rough and feels like plastic. It will be east to clean but not very comfortable for my little one. The other bad part is when the carrier is in the stroller it does not lay flat enough to recline the baby but sits him in a very up right position. I hunted for months for a stroller and am very disappointed I ended up with this one. I would recommend spending a little more money for a nicer travel system.

Do not buy, September 8, 2009
This review is from: Baby Trend Travel System, Skylar (Baby Product)
We bought the Baby Trend based on its high rating in Consumer Reports. We didn't do any online reviews research, only to find out we encountered all the same problems as others have.
As other reviewers on Amazon have noted on the Mess design, the car seat handle is super difficult to fold down. Even more challenging is the way the straps buckle - you have to place them side by side and try to slide them in together at the same time, which can require several attempts and always requires two hands.
The worst part is the stroller. It doesn't maneuver well and the wheels (which are very poor quality) don't lock. It's a pain to try and break down. After reading the entire manual the most effective way is to unlock the handle and bend all the way down with it - not easy for someone recovering from delivery and/or carrying heavy things (like a baby).
We returned this product due to its poor quality and difficulty of use. We went with the Chicco Cortina instead.

Love Babytrend!, August 3, 2010

I have this stroller carseat combo in another pattern. I wanted this pattern so bad but couldn't find it anywhere! My daughter is 8 months old and is getting a little too big for the carseat, but it has served us well. The stroller is great for shopping. You don't have to worry about trying to rest the carseat on a shopping cart because you have plenty of room in the basket underneath the stroller to shop. We've dragged this stroller through a flea market, across a beach, and around the block. Would recommend this brand to anyone!

Wonderful set, December 19, 2009

Love the car seat. Easy to get in and out of the car. Stroller is a little big to transport, but it is so easy to use. Works great as a system.

Too small, January 31, 2010

I would NOT recommend buying is product. I should have waited to buy this closer to my son's arrival. He cannot fit the seat very well. The buckle barely fits over his crotch. He is only two months old. I am not happy with this...

Great!!!, May 11, 2009
This review is from: Baby Trend Travel System, Skylar (Baby Product)
We have not gotten to use the carseat or stroller officially (as our baby is due May 23), but it seems safe and secure. The carseat is extremely light, and I really like the triangular carrying handle. I wanted to buy a Chicco travel combo, but finally decided that the heaviness of the carseat was not worth it -- and now I'm glad I didn't. I actually purchased (and returned) several various carseat/stroller combos, and I'm finally happy with this one! Also, I am very pleased with the looks of the Skylar set; it's cute and can go for either gender.
