5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for small camcorders
This carrying pouch is the perfect size for the newer, smaller camcorder. I have the XR520V and it fits perfectly. There is not room for anything else, but since the battery life is long and there are not tapes or discs required to record, there is nothing else you would need to put in it besides the camcorder. The pouch feels like neoprene, soft and lightweight.

3.0 out of 5 stars meh
i bought a Sony CX350V Handycam. while the camera fits into this carrying pouch, there is wiggle room. i place a spare battery at the bottom in the extra room, but it's all awkward as there is still much space around the sides of the camera. i suspect that this bag was designed for other handycams and not my current camera. it's quite bare bones so there are no frills...

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what we were looking for..., June 17, 2009

This case is very small and is made to just fit your camcorder. It is made of a neoprene type of material. I bought the Sony HDR-XR500, and it fits around it perfectly. No there are no additional pockets for storage. This case is made so that you can put the camera in a purse or bag...or even a jacket pocket, and not carry around a bulky, larger case. This is perfect for portability.

Small, well made case that does the intended job. Fits my Handycam HDR-CX100 with a little room to spare. Adjustable handle with velcro is a nice feature as is the dual connected zippers that open the case lid from the center out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very handy and protective case, October 14, 2009

I bought this case for my Sony HDR-XR100 camcorder. It fits the video camera perfectly and provides protection without carrying it around in a traditional camera bag. My video camera is compact enough that I usually just put it in my jacket pocket.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fits CX500V., April 9, 2010

I got this for my Sony CX500V. It fits great. Bag will only fit the camera with the battery on. It fits perfect. I had a CX100 in there also and with the big (75 i think it is the middle one) battery and it just fits. Bag seems tuff might be water proof but havent tested it. If you sit the bag straight up like in the pic the lens would be against the table or desk. Hope that helps.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Little Big, March 18, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this camera bag because reviews said it was just big enough to hold the sony handheld cameras. i bought this to go with the Sony HDR-CX150, and this bag is a little too big for the camera. I might have just gotten something with pockets. but whatever it's a nice bag, and if you want to put an extra battery or something in with the camera then it'll be good.

Soft, but sturdy. Fits the product perfectly. Unique and quite functional single strap, double zipper design works easily and is very effective. Lots of strap on options. Love it.

I bought this case for my Sony HDR-SR12. This camera is larger than most of the new Sony's and it still fits perfectly, with no room for anything else. I had the Sony case LCS-VAC which is nice case; it's just too large for me to carry around. With this case I think I will use the camera more. Case offers little protection other than scratches. I do a lot of traveling and this case will use much less room in my backpack. I'll use the larger case (in my luggage) to store the charger and other accessory's that I don't need to take with me when I want to shoot video.
It's a great quality case which feels like wetsuit material.
